Leaking Cap on 1994 Dodge Coachmen Saratoga
Hello Everyone, I have a 1994 Dodge body Coachmen Saratoga with a high top cap. When it rains it leaks water onto the dashboard. Has anyone dealt with repairing this type of leak themselves? Should I lift the cap slightly and put silicon or something between the cap and the body? What kind of rv silicone sealant should be used for this job. Thanks in advance. The generator will not do anything. It is completely dead no response from the remote switch in the van and nothing from the switch on the generator. The unit is a Onan 2800. The van runs great. The house lights turn on, but I cannot get anything else in the coach to turn on. Tried to turn on the water heater and it would not kick over either. I have a 94 Coachmen Class B. I was trying to start the generator Friday night and killed the battery. Replaced the battery today (because it would charge) and now I get absolutely nothing from the generator. Any clues to what might have went wrong. This unit has always started w/o a problem.
