Air bags when used properly help keep your truck level. They do help with a travel trailer. The first thing I noticed was that I wasn't blinding everyone I met when the headlights were needed. A friend of mine has the F150 EB with the max tow package. His new truck is no stranger to the inside of a Ford garage. The power is really good and I couldn't believe how quick it got up to hiway speed with his 32' 5th wheel in tow. I find that there are two types of people when it comes to fuel mileage either empty or towing. You will find people that tell the truth and those that don't. 10 to 12 towing is a fairly common figure. I once had the pleasure of seeing a 1/2 ton chevy 4x4 extracab pulling a 32' tt. He had a Polaris 800 4x4 in the bed of the truck and above the bed and resting on the cab and extending over the hood was a rack that held three more full size quads. From our river lot I saw him go up the river every Fri and back down the river every Sun afternoon for the whole summer. Some people are very lucky to be alive.155Views0likes0Comments
