It left us with two problems on the roof, which is aluminum: a 6" diameter dent about 3/4" deep, and a few inches away from that, a sizeable gash (2" wide by about 6" long) Believe it or not, this is the first serious damage we've had to the roof - first time something penetrated it, anyway. So, I'm looking for advice on repairing these two issues. I would prefer to avoid re-skinning the entire roof! Thanks in advance!Re: How'd He Get That Boat Up There???REALLY? Nobody mentions the fact that it looks as if he's pulling a HOT TUB behind him?:hYeah, another tire questionHave a 2013 GMC Sierra Denali DRW. It still has the stock wheels (6.5 inch wide wheel) and tires, and it's time to replace the tires (lt235/80R17). I'd like to try the Nitto Ridge Grapplers, but they're not available in my stock size - anyone see a problem trying to put an lt255/80R17 on my truck? Looks to be plenty of room. Anyone done something similar? Thanks in advance.Re: What unusual location have you parked overnight at?Next to the building at Danbury Spring and Brake, Danbury Connecticut. Left Long Island for a trip up to Maine. Got as far as Danbury when the right rear bearing went on our F350. Danbury S&B was the only shop that would take us in (Really good folks!) Had the rear brakes done several weeks before the trip. To change out the brakes on an '03 F350, you have to pull the rear axle shafts. Seems the mechanic forgot to refill the rear end with oil. Driving around town without the camper for a few weeks showed no problem, but the load of the camper and highway travel fused the bearing to the spindle. They ended up welding on a new spindle. The shop ran an electrical cord out to the camper so we could stay overnight. Next day we rented a car, loaded all of our gear into it and drove home. Went back up a week later to pick up the truck and camper. Oh - Ended up getting a new mechanic and a new truck!Re: Name this locationWinner, winner, chicken dinner! It is Custer State Park.
