But sure feels good to step in there now on a firm floor... We are camping right now --in the rig --in the woods --in peace and quiet --ahhhhhhhhhRe: What did you do to your Class A MH today???2 weeks ago we coated the fiberglass roof with elastomeric coating. Easy peasy. Elastomeric roof project Last week we tore up rotted bathroom floor and replaced all the subfloor etc. and laminate flooring with tile looking pattern. NOT so easy peasy. Floor replacement This week we replaced the seal in our Sealand ceramic toilet, easy peasy. Other mods and repairs we have made and right now we are sitting in a lovely quiet campground in the woods!Re: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}Opened up the Good Sam HiWays magazine, and there is a whole page editorial recapping the Old Fella's story and Richard being honored as the RVer of the year.... and many mentions of all the great things he has done. They are reminding folks to be on the lookout for next years candidate too. Way to go!Re: What did you do to your Class A MH today??? KarenInTheWoods wrote: Then we bought two gaskets for the air conditioners, as one was dripping a bit, so that is next on the docket. Update... we just went out to the rig to replace the gaskets. Lo and behold they only needed tightening! The three screws were less than even finger tight, and the gaskets look to be in great shape. The book said 40-50 inch pounds of torque. Said the gaskets should be squished down to 1/2 inch thickness. We did that and then ran a hose over the rooftop. No more drip drip drip---- Returning our two gaskets back to the rv store, makes two more nights of campground fees for the camping budget!!!Re: What did you do to your Class A MH today???We pulled our driver's side dual pane window out for our son to replace for us (he works at a commercial glass company).... so right now it's taped up with plastic and cardboard and duct tape! We look like hillbillies.. heh heh Then we bought two gaskets for the air conditioners, as one was dripping a bit, so that is next on the docket. Loaded up all the clean bedding, towels and clothes from the last 10 days out, ready for the next trip!Re: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}Safe travels to you, and all headed that way to NM. Wish we could be there too! That statue is just lovely and can't wait to see the pics of it installed in it's rightful place in the park. Happy Easter to everyone... may all the furbabies get a treat today.Re: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}I guess this situation between Hobo and Mama is a very good illustration of why Richard felt the need to separate the four sister dogs from the dumpster. Especially seeing the bond between Anna and Suzie. If they continued to live together, being inseperable over the years would bring heartache and pain when one has to travel to the Rainbow Bridge. Like the mourning we humans do when our family leaves us.Re: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}Gosh.. such good news this morning from all the doggers! Sarah is healing and doing well, Mama is doing good and perhaps even get to go to Albuquerque, Wolfie is having a great time and sounds like he is an ambassador for the wolf hybrid folks.... All is good on the dogger front here too. Our snow is melting so Duke and Duchess are finding some mud here and there. They got baths and are both staring their awful spring shedding. I am going to go post a new thread on what I do with the shedding fur.Re: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story} Dandy Dan wrote: This morning we had to take Sarah to the doggie hospital. Somehow she had managed to dislocate her right hip (the other one). Morning Dan... How is Sarah doing today?Re: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}Dang.. all these tears falling on my keyboard may short it out! Wow... what a recollection of your past, thanks for sharing!
