We were thinking of maybe using it this fall. Have fun!! JerBearRe: Valle De Juarez Open For BusinessI believe Hacienda Contreras is closed. Although some people have been able to stay by asking at the Pemex next door. Victoria RV Park is still open. Good water and electricity. JerBearRe: Valle De Juarez Open For BusinessYes we are but did not go this year because of Covid. We hope to go back this fall.Re: Fausto Proposes Free Access of RVs Into MexicoThanks for posting Chris. It's a great idea and would help the Mexican RV Parks stay in business. JerBearRe: Want to drive through Mexico, looking for truck adviceWe have been traveling to Mexico since 2007. We have a 2006 GMC 3500 Sierra duramax and a 10'8 Citation slide in truck camper. For us it is the perfect RV for Mexico for a variety of reasons. But of course this is only our opinion. Mexico is a beautiful country to explore with warm and friendly people.Hope you get to see it!!! And to answer your question we have no problem finding diesel. JerBearRe: Freightliner Sales and Service Allende, Nuevo LeonThanks for the info, Chris!Re: Postal codeWe travel thru the USA every winter on our way to Mexico. Punch in 01000 and it works 9 times out of 10. Give it a try! JerBearRe: Boca De Iguanas Access Road hwy 200Thanks for the update, Robbie. Looks like we may avoid that area this year.We usually only go in that area for a day trip anyways.Camping at Rancho BuganvilliasWe recently enjoyed a three-night stay at Rancho B RV Park, less than 2 kms south of La Placita. Sandy is an excellent host, ensuring everyone is included in activities and seeing all the area has to offer. Campers heading north or south on Mex 200, be sure to stop at km marker 196 and meet all the four-legged friends, witness the beautiful vistas and sunsets and easy access to the endless beach. There are full hookups, as well as dry camping areas. Many sites have concrete pads. The bathrooms are clean and modern. There is a covered gathering area. Currently there is no restaurant on site. Plans for a pool and two rental units with gorgeous views are underway. GPS location: 18.51144 N 103.58376 W Current price: 100 pesos per night with metered electric. ranchob.comVictoria RV ParkWe are enjoying Victoria RV Park in Valle de Juarez. Four rigs here including ourselves, but room for more. Great 30 amp electricity and good water. Here is the link to their website www.victoriarvp.com JerBear
