Would not fit in the new Creek, had to co to Splendide units, (stacked but seperates).Re: What Size Truck?SO, being somewhat obnoxious as I am, guess my Ram 5500 is a bit of overkill for my 39 foot fifth wheel? Sorry, couldn't resist.New (to me) TVIn November, I saw a truck for sale at the Buick/Chevy/GMC dealer in town. It was a RAM. Looked it over, my 2004 3500 Dually was showing her age and had a little over 200,000 on her. SO, I bought the 2012 RAM 5500 (EBY flatbed body). It was set up with a gooseneck hitch which is still in place, but I added a Reese 30K over the top. 1st serious tow was Dover to Melbourne in December and return in March. Rides a bit stiffer but does a wonderful job in towing a Cedar Creek 36CKTS with a Swivelwheel behind carrying the Cricket.Re: Cardinal 3850RL vs Cedar Creek 36CKTSCedar Creek 36CKTSRe: 5th Wheel Hitch AdviceMy thought has always been "Better to Have and NOT NEED, than to NEED and NOT HAVE".Re: AC Upgrade Help!If your current one is working well, AND a 15K, leave it and add a 13.5 in the bedroom. We have a 39ft rig, the A/C's are ducted and do very well. We were in Kerville last June and the did very well. Both are Dometic.Re: Vent fansOR, may have to check if the lid/vent cover is "stuck". Mine will do that occasionally, and I have to manually open it, then the switch will work.Re: Sewer Tank FlusherI'm right there with DAN-NICKIE. No more than 5 minutes, depending on the water pressure at hand.Re: Vinyl Fence Posts as Sewer Hose Storage - A few questions?Mine look exactly like the first photo that Path1 posted. Just behind the front landing jacks.Instead of end caps, I use 6" x 1/4 bolt, allowing for air and drain.Using the corner posts (slotted), allows for ease in attaching to the floor pan using fender washers. I have a sheet metal screw at each end and three spaced down the length underneath.Re: propane ventingAm I missing something in this discussion? Propane storage area on my Creek IS NOT a sealed area/compartment. I can see the ground under the bottle mounts.
