Last season I noticed the water from the heat we coming out as a milkish color (this didn't happen with the cold water). I am wanting to clean out the inside of the hot water heater but where I drain it at is where the red knob is at. Did they make these old heaters with the knob or do you think someone put it on possibly when the lost the drain plug? I am wondering if I take the knob off, if I could find a drain plug that would fit in there so I can clean that tank out on a yearly basis. Here are a few pictures of the front of the heater. I wish I could get out to Chuckwalla sometime to photograph the MRA people when they are out there racing. Light painting is something else I want to try. Have you seen Dave Blacks videos on light painting? JimRe: My first year in photos.Did the fuel can and generator cause you to run hotter? Because of reduced air flow. JimRe: My first year in photos.Wyeth is such a great lady. I've been lucky enough to have been able to sponsor her and Aaron Fisk for the last few years. She is a class act for sure. JimRe: My first year in photos.Very cool. I know folks from here in Colorado with the MRA that go to Chuckwalla and race motorcycles during the winter months. JimRe: How many of you travel alone with a TT?I am 52 and have always went camping by myself. Haven't had any real problems backing into a camping spot or setting up. JimRe: Post Pictures of Your Most Recent Camping Trips Here!Ymmy. Re: First trip of the season.Wow, what a great weekend. Wind gusts all weekend but didn't put a damper on the weekend. So nice and relaxing and sunny. Highs in the mid to upper 60's. I really enjoyed it. Got back home around noon Sunday and winterized the trailer because there are a few nights it is suppose to be in the mid 20's at night. I can't wait to go out camping again. JimFirst trip of the season.Woohoo, getting ready to leave Friday for my first camping trip of the season. I will be camping at the KOA in Colorado City. Low Friday of 26 shouldn't bother me with the heat going in the trailer. I can't wait for Friday to get here. :) JimRe: Stopping for fuel with 29' TTMy trailer is 21' plus the tongue. Truck is roughly 20'. Before I pull into any parking lot or gas station. I make sure I can already see a way to get out. Has saved me a lot of hair. And I always start looking for a gas station when I'm at 1/2 a tank. Good luck and enjoy yourself. Jim
