It was a relay in the side compartment in front on the driver side. Mine was a lot more fun since it was intermittent. Turned out the relay was heat sensitive, would work at night or early morning and stop working when the sun would warm things up. They had to finally use a heat gun to isolate it. Your relay might just be dead.Re: found a new websiteI couldn't find a legend or anything to tell what the different colors mean. Have any idea? Thanks for the site.Re: Dead batteries 2013 elipse Goldencrazy wrote: Had AAA jump start me. Took three big packs to get her to fire. After 5 hour drive it is pretty much charged up. Hope i never have a bad mix of luck to discharge them like this again. Good news is myvwife is recovering well after total cardiac arrest from which i revived her. Don’t want to have that again either. Thanks for the comments. Thanks for the update, good news all around. Best to the little lady.Re: Cut off battery switch for chassisMaybe I'm not understanding the reason for the question. Why do you need to use the cutoff switch? The only time I ever used mine on my Monaco was if it was going to be stored and not plugged in. Then I didn't want any parasitic drain on the batteries, but plugged into shore power there should be no need.Re: Where to buy laminate mouldingDeleted by authorRe: The search begins.... That's 3 babies! I'd want an 80 foot class A pulling a 45 foot trailer with a bar in it! Shop for something with a killer vent fan! Diapers stink. The best RV's sleep two! As I keep telling people when I'm looking at an RV, I want one that will drink 6, feed 4 and sleep 2. Good luck in find what pleases you.Re: Private purchase in Texas - need title for MichiganOK, so I'm stupid. Who or what is an "SOS"?Re: Proud new owners!Congratulations on the "new 2 U" rig. I'm looking myself. As was already mentioned, exercise that generator. I have talked to several folks that are selling a motorhome and "bragging" about how few hours are on the generator. I tell them that is a negative, the generator WANTS to be used, otherwise it get lazy and doesn't want to work when needed. When I've had previous motorhomes, that was a regular practice to go at least once a month when in storage and run the generator for at least an hour with everything turned on that I could find. Again, congrats on the new rig, happy travels.Re: Newbie Class A QuestionsWelcome to the forum. We started out in a 24' class C. Took a trip from California to Omaha Ne. Came home and put it on the lot. It was too light and we got blown all over the road due to the winds on the plains. My wife drove about 50 miles and gave it back, she couldn't handle it with the wind. My main issue with it was the overhang would catch a reflection from the center dashed line at night. Was almost hypnotic to the point I wouldn't drive at night. We went to a 33' class A, then a 40' diesel, then a 38' fifth wheel. We got rid of the 5th wheel because I was never comfortable with something that big pushing me. I'm back in the market for another class A. You get a lot more room and storage. Depending on the size, you'll get a lot more carrying capacity than an equivalently sized C, plus generally larger tanks, propane, fuel, water, and waste. Good luck on what ever you decide.Re: Trading in a Fifth Wheel for a Class A jfkbunkie wrote: StuckinTracy wrote: … It was great, once it was parked but I could just never get used to having a 16k pound tail wagging my dog. This was a big factor in our decision - my wife has never felt comfortable pulling a trailer of any kind. But she test drove the MH and handled it like a champ. Congrats on the new rig. I'm only looking at Class A's, my wife want another fifth wheel. I told her, fine, then you drive it. She's looking a Class A's with me. :D
