WIND SHIELD WIPERS Problem I have an 05 Pace on a W24. Replaced the Windshield motor a couple of years ago. Since then I had the problem of wipers not turning off. Now however the wipers only work on High and the sprayer works but does not turn on the wipers. Have to time it right to turn the wipers off when they are not in the middle of windshield. I tried a new motor, and that is not the problem. I traced the wires all the way back to the motor and the only plug in the line is fine. The ground is clean and looks good. Any suggestions, I know others have had this problem, my bother in law has the exact same issue on his 04 Southwind. Was it wet in and around the wiper motor. I have routinely had that problem when driving through heavy rain. Once water gets in the wiper motor area the wipers would not turn off. Had to pull the fuse. I had the exact scenario, no fan, very little output, but is did jump around a little. Had to replace the unit. When I called to buy the new one the guy sold me a different brand. He said the one the that was in the RV had the highest failure rate in the industry. If it is plugged into a working outlet and is not generating the 13.6 (or whatever the number is supposed to be) the unit is bad. I agree... sounds like the converter. Just had to replace mine on an 05 - 37C. Mine was under the washer/dryer. Was able to get it out from the front without removing to much stuff and lots of patience. We have an 05, Pace Arrow, 37C, on a Workhorse 24... The windshield wipers just stopped working in the rain. It has been a week and they are not coming back on. The washer fluid no longer works either. I checked all fuses an wires, including ground, and all seem fine. Wonder if anyone still monitoring this topic. I have a P/A 2005 37C on the WH24. Previously owned 4 Bounders so I am fairly aware of how RV's operate. At any rate I have a few questions for other Pace owners. I have winter camped at Lake Placid in Bounders with very little trouble, no water freezing etc. Does anyone winter camp in near zero temps and how has it worked out? There are air horns mounted on my roof that I can't figure out how to work them. Checked fuses etc. Has anyone else had this problem or maybe they are just for show? My fog lights do not work again I have checked the fuse and the switch appears to bbe good. Any suggestions?199Views0likes0Comments
