They also found there way into my lower storage compartments due the clearance areas around the landing gear. In early spring I will put some pool noodles cut to size around the landing gear legs and hope that keeps them out.Re: Sandpiper thoughts/opinions/rants?Several of my friends have Sandpiper's and have had good success with them. The only knock I found is that the ceiling height in the bathroom and front bedroom was tight for me. However, I am 6' 5. The interior ceiling is flat vs the curved ceiling in mine, so that's the difference. Quality on theirs, all three are 2013 and up, has been good. Good Luck in your purchase.Re: Bird in the pin boxI just found a nest in mine with some freshly hatched chicks. Not sure what type. I have a trip next week, so they are going to get evicted!Re: King pin stabilizer jackI am one of the few that like the tripod. I was lucky enough to have a friend give me his when he traded his 5'er. He also gave me a Wayne's Stabilizer for the rear. Mine is rock solid now. I cannot argue that the JT's and the like are much easier and do a great job, but I will state that my set up is also solid.Re: New Living Room Bunkhouse FloorplansWe walked through the Sandpiper 371REBH this afternoon at the Virginia Beach show. I was very impressed with it. The interior was very comfortable and well thought out.Re: Mold already??!!!!Is it possible for you to post a picture on here? I am very curious to see what this mold looks like. good Lcuk!Re: Must Have, Don't Need1. What do you love that you have in your trailer that you couldn't live without? Porcelain toilet (great flush action), outside kitchen 2. What do you wish that you had in your trailer? Ceiling Fan, surround sound (TV does not play through stereo) 3. What could you go without? Second door to bathroom (slider form the bedroom) 4. Have you found issues with the w/d and the d/w? N/A 5. Do you really use the outdoor kitchen and fireplace a lot? I use our electric fireplace all the time in the fall as a heater, plus it adds nice ambiance to the living area. I love the outside kitchen more for the extra fridge (beer!). I use the cooktop occasionally. It is also nice to have the extra cabinets for the bug spray and outdoorsy stuff.Re: Front landing gear tip-adjustable footAny chance of that adjustable pad rotating off while in tow? It looks like a great idea to me.Re: Heat from the windowsThe foam vent cushions really help cut the heat load also.Re: What's in your tool box?Aside from the typical tools, I made sure I had the correct tire iron and jack to change a tire (just in case).
