The Cherry Bowl Drive Inn is just a few miles away....Traverse City is not too far and has a lot of places to go and see.....there is a pretty good Zip Line just east of Traverse City.Re: How long of a trailer is too long?Heck, the truck I tow with is 20 feet long :-)Re: Can I tow it without brakes a short distance?Brakes are one thing ability and habits of the driver are another. I wouldn't have any problem pulling it, only you know if you will.Re: Summer tip up thru MI, WI and MnGot to be right on the timing in the UP....early spring is Black Fly and then followed by two weeks of biting black flies, after that it settles down. Late June, early July you should be fine. Over 100 waterfalls. Porcupine Mountains is incredible, have dinner an the Konteka and watch the black bears out the back windows, Kitch-Ipi-Kipi Spring, Pictured Rocks, Copper Hunting....the list goes on. We will spend most the summer of 2019 in the UP and will still not see all of it.Re: Trailer not registered as connectedWhen I was test towing a Jayco 4113, it displayed the brakes were not connected, lights and all worked. When I returned the tech said it was because there was not a battery on board. Not sure what you are towing, but maybe check your trailer battery connection if it's a Jayco.
