I just redone a few cabinets in my laundry room there was no sanding. I used a good deglosser then used the general finishes product. Very nice turnout and was so easy I also applied the product to my old china hutch in java and it turned out very beautiful. I did all of this in one weekend.Re: New computer - need opinionsI would also take back the laptop, get a Microsoft surface pro...best investment I have ever made!Re: Tailgater and Sat1 LVR & Sat 2 BDROK...does anyone know if there is a connection to the bedroom TV in the back of the living room TV? I don't care if it is the same programming, I just want the option to watch the sat in my bedroom when I'm settling in for the night. The fifth wheel is knew to us and we were only inside when we bought the 5th, the pdi, and then again when we got home for just a little while. Then the snow came again and my son left.Re: Tailgater and Sat1 LVR & Sat 2 BDRThanks everyone for the replies-sorry I didn't get to respond earlier but today was hectic. On the outside of the RV I have a coax input that says living room sat and another that says bedroom Sat. If I run the coax to the living room will the picture show in the bedroom also or do I need to somehow split. I have the 211K. I thought maybe I can run a splitter going into the RV before I plug into both lines in and then run the box. I realize now that will not work. So I guess from the responses it sounds like I have to run a cable to the bedroom directly from the satellite receiver...that is inconvenient. I can't get into the RV right now because my son accidently took the keys and left them in his vehicle at the airport which is 280 miles away and he will not be back for 2 weeks.Tailgater and Sat1 LVR & Sat 2 BDRHi Everyone, I searched the forum but can not find any information. I have a dish tailgater, in my convenience center I have a satellite 1 living room and satellite 2 Bedroom. Can I use a splitter from the tailgater to the two Sat in ports and view my programing on both my living room and bedroom tv. I realize they would view the same channel. Am I missing something from the inside of the RV in the main TV area-a switch or something to turn on the bedroom signal. Thank you for your help.Re: Putting the kids on the floor??? phillyg wrote: Kids belong on the floor. They should also be seen and not heard. At least that's what my English mother told me when I was a kid. Can you see where I'm coming from LOL? I think I know where you are coming from....we all think we have the perfect child. We camp with a lot of family. There is 6-9 camps set up on normal weekend. We all have kids the in same age groups ranging from 5-20 years old. This can make for some serious mischief, and it does as a lot of the older kids stay in tents. My rule is not until your 18. I was the mean mom.Re: Unloading the inside to trade it in !!We did this last week. For my own peace of mind, we went and weighed the truck. Then came home and loaded everything we took out and put it where ever it would fit in the truck. We made my daughter jump in and went back to the scales. We were at 1106 lbs. I thought it would weigh like 2000 lbs. we had a lot of stuff. The only thing missing was our clothes we use for the weekend/week, food and drinks too I guess. We gave a lot away...we had 12 chairs???? why so much IDK.Re: Answering "How Much" QuestionsThis is a great way to explain this. I have looked at weight calculators in many different forums for both TT and 5vers. Sent a question on the forum just last week. I NOW UNDERSTAND....You taught me something today...thank you for that! No offense to all...the help and responses I received were awesome and I somewhat understood, but everything was still so confusing. A picture is worth a thousand understandings!Re: Moved From a Bunkhouse to a Rear Living - ThoughtsTwo of our boys are grown and our oldest rarely comes with us now because he has school and internships in the summer. The 18 year still comes along often and we have a 13 year daughter. We moved from bunkhouse to a rear living room. My daughter was not happy but hey mom and dad pay the bills. The dealer that we bought our new rig from gave us these XL cots for our boys Lamp-rite oversized quick cot . I hope they fit in the living space as they are a little big. The cots are sturdy and can hold up to 400lbs. The dealers said to throw down a rug set up the cots and you can have 1-2-3 beds in an instant, or they can use them in the tent. We will see how well this goes over once we can start camping in May.Re: Road King Tires - RrrghWe live in ND, closest city is 1.5 to 2 hours away so we do a lot of internet shopping. We buy all of our tires at http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direct/home.do. These guys have always been amazing to work with. They carry all the brands from low to high end, so you can do some comparisons across tires. Buy 4 shipping is free, warranty work they pay the return shipping. Have had to get a tire replaced and they worked with our local tire shop to resolve the issue. Replacement didn't cost me a penny. Just an option as we need to find better deals with the ND prices soaring out of reach for many of us who don't work in the oil fields.
