Thanks, for taking the time to share your insightes on this topic.Re: Trip report, Overland Expo EastLooks like it was a success. We always have a good time at the OX in Flagstaff. msiminoff wrote: Sadly, after my experiences at this year's event in Flagstaff, I doubt that I'll ever choose to attend another :( Cheers -Mark Well this is disappointing to hear this! I really enjoyed your classes on TC electrical, very well thought out and conveyed to the class, sorry you had a bad experience. We will miss you next year.Re: So what did you do to your Truck Camper today?Put it in storage, getting the TH ready for another desert season in the ISDRA.Re: Hellwig or Roadmaster sway bar? btggraphix wrote: What I am curious about is if that is still something you can easily change after the fact or if it would be a big PITA to change it later if you decided it needed to change and even change it around until you got it dialed in for your application. I have a Bigwig and yes it adjustable, has 3 settings (holes) on the end of the bar. I do adjust mine, when the camper is on I have it set in the middle, when I pull the 5th wheel I set it to the inward hole. Takes about 10 minutes a side to unbolt the end and move it. It's been a great addition, takes a lot of side to side wobble out, when transitioning uneven surfacesRe: Super Sport Sand ShowGood Show, lots to see, renewed a couple of memberships. Found out KC makes replacement LED inserts for the Daylighter series lights, for those of us who still use them. Boy have SxS's taken over, seems like everyone is making something for them. Reminds me of the early 2000's when the long travels were the thing to have. Yes, the side porches were very unique. The large Warrior Lifestyles 5th wheel was nice, I too like the open concept. Something I found interesting was, it said it was by Weekend Warrior on the side. I thought that name died when WW went out of Biz.Super Sport Sand ShowIt's that time again, the SSSS is this weekend. Super Sport Sand Show Even if your not in to the desert thing, but are in the market for a TH, this is a good place to see lots of TH's. It seems every year it gets bigger with more and more TH's to see. We like going just to look at the new rigs and maybe find some cool offroad stuff we can't live without.Re: Labor Day Weekend: Where are you going?TC is going into storage and getting the TH ready for another desert season, change oil in gen, wash, wax and restock. Maybe going to a friends house in the mountains for a BBQ.Re: The ace of FT truck campers tells all: Pt. It is always a pleasure to see you and all of the Xtreme-TC'ers while we were at the OX, I guess it's now the WOX (Western OX). You read my mind with the "Travels with Charley" reference, very Steinbeckesk. You and your Scottie are living the life for sure. When you get in the SoCal desert, send me a PM and we'll camp with you for a few days. Safe travels.Re: The ace of FT truck campers tells all: Pt. IIWow, what a great read. Bryan is the ultimate in x-boondocking and a true outdoorsman. He is living a life only a few can hope achieve or in some cases even understand in the complexity of what it takes to do this in a TC. These articles have open a few eyes I am sure. Thanks Mike and Bryan. So much for being a man of mystery! Two articles and counting, maybe a movie deal next?LOLRe: A Camper Window with a View 3NFS Aspen Campground off the 120 on the way to Yosemite.
