Wireless Remote Control Outlet Plugged Water Heater into this, and plugged this into the AC outlet the water heater was previously plugged into. Also, using the second outlet, I ran a light duty extension cord with a cheap night light plugged into it to a spot where I could see it inside the trailer. It acts as a power ON/OFF indicator. Works like a charm.:)Re: 5th wheel hitchACZL... The 29footer is an older, heavier unit and the Curt was on for a good price. Otherwise, I'd have gone with a lighter hitch that met my needs. And seriously, is there really that much difference between a 16K and a 20K hitch, as long as it meets or exceeds your requirements? OP... Look at the ones with the features you're interested in and make your choice. You can't really go wrong with ANY name brand hitch regardless of the many opinions out there.Re: 5th wheel hitchI have run a Curt 20k hitch pulling a 29foot 5th for almost 10 years now. Works great. Solid connection, reliable, never had an issue. You'll get lots of conflicting opinions on this topic, and lots of 'fan boy' posts promoting their hitch of choice while dismissing everything else as pure junk. So, look at the ones with the features you're interested in and make your choice. You can't really go wrong with ANY name brand hitch. Enjoy!Re: To those w/10 gal. water heater.I'm in Alberta at approx. 3500 feet above sea level. My 2005 era Atwood GC10A-4E 10 gal hot water heater take approx. 50 minutes to go from cold to hot on propane... and its HOT.Re: Death Star Sewage SystemThanks.... It's been a rough couple years... lost job... no prospects in sight (so far, anyway)... I needed a good Laugh!!! :D Happy Easter!Re: 8 y/o Fresh Water Tank PumpRegarding a 'short cycle' once in a while... it will even do that as the water heater cools down and the pressure in the tank drops (ever so slightly) as the water cools / contracts. Nothing to worry about.Re: Canada Proof Golf Cart BatteriesNo info... but I am interested (also in Calgary ;))Re: 2 Ingredient Hot Dish.Re: Passport America and its ilk...Re: Passport America and its ilkWe joined PA (as it was recommended by my parents) and it was a waste of money! If you are retired or otherwise able to juggle your travels to work around the many restrictions you run into with PA (or other 'clubs' I would assume) then it may save you some $$$. But DW and I are still working stiff's and don't enjoy that kind of flexibility yet. Maybe when we're retired it may make sense. But not now.
