Need tow vehicle advice
Let me lay out my use first then tell you what i am looking at: I just bought a 2011 Coachman Catalina 32foot travel trailer that weighs 7400lbs dry weight. We are a family of 5. I need a truck that can easily pull it on both flat ground and in the Appalachians if i chose to camp there as well, since we are in North Carolina. We will use the truck probably once a month and maybe pull the camper 4-6 times per year. I am looking at the following vehicles 2006 F250 6.0 Diesel 2008 F250 w/5.4l Gas 2008 F250 V10 gas 2008 F250 6.4 diesel 2011 F250 6.2 Gas 2012 Dodge 2500 6.0 Gas I am leaning towards the 2011 as i can get it for under $15k. I know diesel is the best for pulling, but i wasn't sure what the opinions are since i wont use it very much and will only put about 5k per year.
