Thank you all for the advice. It has given me a better idea as to when to plan my trip. I still need to get some modifications done to the mothership for my son to travel in. The genorator needs to be fixed. Still would like to travel with another party, at least some of the way. Thanks again! Thanks for the info! Had to laugh at cleaning the tank to store food in it. Very funny! I do always put water back in,:B a gallon or so with the odor tabs. I do not like the big lines at camp grounds, but as some one suggested the best times to go are after check out or early. The last time I camped I went the day before I checked out. Hi I would like to drive from California to Florida and back soon. I am still working on getting my ducks in a roll for this trip. I was wondering what is the best time of the year to drive to Florida is, I want to avoid bad wheather. I would be driving by my self and my disabled son. I am looking for other people to travel with in a caravan? I have never drove that far, or in a motorhome. Just wondering if anyone might be going that way in the near furture?
