I do worry about altitude issues, we're at 4500 ft now and regularly go over 6000 for the weekend.Sleep Number BedLooking to install our Sleep Number bed from the S&B into our Alfa. I know the pump will fit under the bed and how to place the hoses. I'm interested if anyone's done this before and if they had any tips to make it go easier. Thanks in AdvanceRe: State Park CampgroundsLots of Utah State Parks can handle your rig, but not all and not all sites. We reserve through the state park website and the descriptions and sizes are pretty accurate. Utah State ParksRe: Places to overnight along I-80 and 84Willard Bay State Park in Utah, north of Ogden on I15/I84. Litterally right off the freeway at exit 357. Go to stateparks.utah.com. If you're going to be mid-week, getting in shouldn't be bad. Weekends can be busy, especially in the spring.Re: What ladder do you keep in motorhomeWe picked up a "Little Giant" from Costco a few years ago. It's a Class 1A and 300lb capable. Not the easiest to store, but I'm able to access the roof when I need to. I'm too big for most of the folding ones out there with their 225lb capacity. Look around, try them where you can, and see which makes the most sense for you. Little Giant Folding LadderRe: camping in MoabWe stayed at OK RV Park south of Moab several years ago. We were in a 40' fifth wheel at the time. It was a clean friendly park that we'd stay at again. OK RV ParkRe: 2006 American Tradition advice? We had a 99 American Tradition. Very well made unit. As was said earlier, as long as the maintenance was done you should be good.Re: Odd things that Happen when on the RoadIn the mid-70's, I was stationed at K.I. Sawyer AFB outside Gwinn, MI. My family was up from the Chicago area camping at Little Lake, MI. I had a couple of my brothers and sisters with me. Mid-summer so driving down a dirt road out the back of KI on my way to the campground with the windows open. A bee flew in the side window, hit my shoulder, and dropped into my shirt pocket. Road was empty, thankfully, as I came to a dusty, full brake, stop, jumping out of the car and tearing off my shirt before the dazed bee came around enough to decide to be upset and sting me. Meanwhile, my siblings, all in their lower teens, tweens, and single digits, are all staring out the car at me, trying to figure out just what the heck I was doing. I finally got it out of my pocket, put the shirt back on, and climbed back into the car. As we drove the rest of the way to the campsite, I was explaining to them what had happened. None of them ever saw the bee. We got to camp, and they are all chattering on to Mom and Dad how their big brother had a fit while driving.Re: Veteran's DayUSAF - SMSgt (E-8) April 72-December 92. Didn't always love it, but wouldn't trade it for the world! Thanks to all the Vet's here! Your service is NOT forgotten, no matter when or where you served!Re: How many miles on your Cat C7Just over 65K on our 05 Alfa See Ya! Still runs like a dream. Only thing we saw was some overheating at about 58K, bad thermostat. Had the system flushed and the radiator cleaned out.
