I'm thinking about going towards Logan and then up 39 to 412.Re: King quest and local channels Bill.Satellite wrote: mfifield01 wrote: Have you done it in the last 3-4 months? I haven't tried, but read that you need to put in for a change of address and have a tech come out. In the past, I could do it the way you described. I have a list of what will work on the 101 sat (for locals). Yes, and No. No tech required. Did you use the Directv website (chat) or ATT site?Re: The Official unofficial CPE 2000i Generator Thread gunterm wrote: Hey folks! Just got my module upgraded by Supergen, so they're still doing it. They have however changed addresses so make sure you're sending it the right place. Another question, I just bought a bigger inverter since my new RV has a 15k A/C and the 2000W won't start this one. Was wondering if the bigger ones will parallel with the 2000W model, they use different models so I'm thinking no. Also the 2800W bigger unit uses only 2 wires for paralell instead of 2 wires plus that little control plug. Did you get the Champion 2800/3100w generator? If so, then you can sell the 2000w. The bigger generator will run the 15k AC.Re: King quest and local channelsHave you done it in the last 3-4 months? I heard that it's nearly impossible with the ATT/Directv changes. I was able to change mine last fall, but haven't tried since. I plan to travel this summer, so I'd like to make one change.Re: Satellite tv antennaDid you get the VQ4100? I'm thinking about getting Directv at home. I would then get the H24 and VQ4100.Re: Bringing kayak with you... dwayneb236 wrote: Just an FYI. I tried this with my 12' kayaks and while making a turn my kayak hit the corner of my trailer. No real damage but it will hit it on occasion. I won't do it again. We have a couple we camp with that has a kayak trailer who comes with us. On this occasion we were meeting them to go on a trip and had neglected to take the kayaks to them beforehand. Figured I could get away with just leaning them in the bed with the ends hanging over. If I never made any turns it would be fine. If you had a 10' kayak, would it work?Re: Ram 1500 towingI'm towing a Passport 2810BH with my 2013 Ram Hemi. It's an 8-speed with 3.92 gears. It tows great (once the WDH is setup properly). I did put on Load Range D tires. The trailer is around 5600 lbs loaded. My only complaint is mileage. On two long trips, I got about 9 mpg. It seems to drop into the upper 8's around 65mph. At 55mph, I could probably get 10-12.Re: Equalizer or Reese Dual CamAnyone had any problems with the Equalizer Hitch? I have one and it gives me intermittent problems with sway. The dealer initially set it up, but I have looked through it. I have setup a 2 point hitch before. It will seem perfectly fine during towing one time and then horrible the next time. It even happens the same day. In the same day, I went to the dealer with trailer. It was fine on the way down, but was bad the way back. I talked to progressive and sent them pictures. According to customer support, everything looks fine. They are going to take my info to engineering.Re: Dinette Cabinet Door for storageGreat info. Anyone have any pictures of how to frame it out?
