Dan Till I saw this post I was leaning toward either the Moryde or LCI steps and I had not heard about the Torklift steps. After following the link above and other reviews I'm sold. I really like the fact that I can easily remove the old fold-up steps and simply bolt the Torklift steps right in the existing brackets. Hey Torklift, I'll be buying your steps for my rig.Re: Are TPMS questionsI have the TST system which relies on valve-mounted sensors, not the flow-through types. Must absolutely use metal valve stems with these. Had to get the repeater to minimize loss of comms at the receiver. Despite these shortcomings it will pay for itself the first time it minimizes serious damage caused by tire blowouts that I didn't know happened back there.Re: 1st TT arriving tomm, what is your check list for setup?Sure would be nice if more RV dealers offered weekend RV-101 classes for new users. They could probably pick up a few sales on useful accessories doing so. Maybe there's a dealer near you with such a class.Re: TPMS tempsIn the summertime on a hot day I usually see the TPMS measured temps to be in the upper 90s at highway speeds. I run on GY Endurance tires.Re: Daunting it's not...rooftop AC replacementInteresting topic. I'll remember these suggestions if I ever need to replace ours.Re: 2020 Ford Raptor towingThe Timbren suspension enhacement costs around $250 and will greatly reduce that sag. It's not as sophisticated as airbags but it works and is easy to install. I have it on my F250 and it works for me.Re: Your Favorite Browser? DallasSteve wrote: I hate, hate, hate auto-play videos. And if you are in an RV with limited bandwidth it's much worse. I KNOW HOW TO CLICK THE PLAY BUTTON. I think whoever creates/allows auto-play videos should be put in prison. Did I mention that I hate auto-play videos? Having said that, it seems like Firefox does the best job of stopping auto-play videos, but it's not easy, even on Firefox. If anybody knows a browser that does a better job of blocking auto-play videos I'll give it a try. X2 on hating autoplay. Most of them aren't worth watching anyway. The settings menu in Brave has an explicit setting for blocking it. The Chromium based Edge browser has the ability to block it also but it's also not easy to use since it requires a special incantation to get to it otherwise it only allows you to "limit" autoplay.Re: Your Favorite Browser?I'm using the new beta version of Edge. I like it. It's based on the Chromium platform which means it will accept many of the extensions that run on Chrome. I can use my VPN proxy extension and it runs very smoothly. It has many privacy protecting features and runs circles around the older MS browsers. Brave is another good browser. Also based on Chromium. It has a good adblocker built in.Re: Tucson, Az.You might look at Cactus Country RV Resort. It's right off of I-10 at the Houghton Rd. exit. That's not very far from Vail. We've stayed here a couple of times and it's a pretty nice park. The entry road is a bit narrow but unless you have to pass another RV coming out you should not have a problem.Re: What to clean old lap sealant with besides denatured alcoholI use a cloth dampened with mineral spirits. Never allow mineral spirits to puddle up on an EPDM roof however.
