We know who slept in the bed last night and when we're driving down the highway and I feel like a fresh hot cup of coffee I start up the generator and ask DW to plug in the kuerig and in a minute and a half I'm enjoying my coffee as we continue down the highway.Re: Any Experience with these Brands/Makes?We are on our 2nd allegro gasser with 11 years of tiffin experience and are very happy with tiffin quality and features.Re: What to Look for When Inspecting a Used DP/Gas Class ALook out for water/leak damage. Tires more than 7years old. Play in front end, slop in suspension. Fuel mileage on my old workhorse and my new ford 7 mpg loaded, unloaded, pulling toad all the same. Less on uphill climbs and driving into wind. Dear OP, yes many Walmarts will let you stay overnight. You need to ask the manager and maintain proper decorum. Only put out the slides you need to get to bathroom or fridge. Leave it as you found it - no trash. We have used Lowes, Home Depot, Cracker Barrel and Walmart. we always spend $$ in the store or restaurant. If they say no, move on there will be something down the road. Rest areas are also a nice find if on an interstate. Perhaps search the web prior to leaving for what is along your route. I guess there are some on here that think it is just like Facebook. Just a place to belittle people who are new. Again I appreciate you answering my original question. The rest can just piss off. I agree and I apologize if you felt my comments were directed at you. I do not post very often for the very reasons you mention. I do occasionally take a poke at those who lecture and pontificate. I have found it best to lurk in the shadows and gain insight from the many helpful posters. They truly do want to help Re: Newer gas class A ride qualityWe don't really camp anymore we rv big difference. Our04 Allegro Bay on workhorse was a good drive on flat and through the mountains. Our new 13 Allegro on a ford is a good drive on flat, less porposing than the 04. I was worried about the mountains, pulling our toad, but 2 weeks ago we went north on I 26, I 40 and I 75 it handled them well and yesterday we came back from up north down the 6 and 7% grades just fine. I liked the Allison tranny better, but the Ford did just fine.Fuel mileage might be a little better with the Ford, but its hard to tell. Both coaches were Tiffin both had good quality. One tv was enough in our 89 Coachman, two tvs were better with our kids, 4 tvs is definately overkill with just the two of us.Re: towinMy neighbor used to tow his jeep liberty that way.Re: Car DolleyTractor Supply stores.
