Other than a very unfriendly staff at King's Holly Haven RV Park(well...that 1 hateful older lady who runs the place...didn't say anything to us,but we grew tired of her patrolling around on a golf cart both acting as if everyone always was up to no good and jumping onto nearly every child in the park...we won't go back there) and heinous traffic (as a former long haul truck driver...I've rarely seen worse than 4th of July traffic in Pigeon Forge,TN),we had a pretty good time of it. Was our 1st family vacation in a/our new TT,so we greatly over-packed (well..."we" might be too broad a spectrum,but I don't wanna say "she" ;) :P ),but all in all,we thoroughly enjoyed it :D639Views0likes0CommentsRe: HEY we need a sticky for our TT pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Still waiting on the hitch place (were supposed to have it installed Thursday,then yesterday (Friday),then said "Monday",but I told them "no,I'll be there tomorrow (said this yesterday for Saturday ;) ) and you can stop working on people who came in after I paid in full's stuff and install it",LOL,lo and behold they agreed :P Anyways,borrowed my dad's truck,went and picked it up at the RV dealer last afternoon,going out to sleep in it in a few :D258Views0likes0CommentsRe: 4th July Trips?

We'll be heading down to Pigeon Forge (TN-not far,only around 3 hours),leaving after paying all the bills Thursday morning (7-3-14) and staying until Sunday evening. Pretty sure my parent's are gonna drag their 38' TT and go with us (they've reserved a spot across the driveway there from us,but said yesterday they were "only about 95% sure at this point"). I don't think it will either,other than being slow on long grades,it's proven a dead-reliable vehicle over the time I've owned it. Within a 2-3 year time frame,we may wish to upgrade to a bit bigger TT,like 28-32'(as our daughter is about to graduate high school next year,giving her 2-3 years to settle and start into her adult life,read: move out :p,and then we may wish to go 3/4 of being "full timers",home schooling our son and taking him with us),so about 90% of the thinking about a V8 Grand Cherokee is my wanting "1 to drive,1 to play with" ;) :P168Views0likes0CommentsRe: Quick question about people's signatures here
Every time. I see it on 1 or 2 of my posts,not in others,and in some I see the icon you see when a pic hasn't loaded (which makes me think it might just be my system...which is a $900 PC,Google Chrome and 30meg speed-other than that I couldn't tell you much about it,LOL :P )206Views0likes0Comments
