Main concern was that there are no slide 'rails' under the bed that will need to be modified. Sounds like there is no reason not to go forward with the remodel.Re: 2018 Jayco North Point bedroom remodelThanks for the input.2018 Jayco North Point bedroom remodelWe would like to remodel the bedroom in our rig by taking out the king bed and replacing with a twin. The twin will fit perfectly, sideways, in the head of the slide. That will free up an incredible amount of floor space. We would then get a small swivel chair and end table….make it a seating area so hubby can watch tv, movies, etc with ease. Sitting on bed is uncomfortable. An RV tech said we would not be able to due to the slide tracks, that they could not be modified smaller. Anyone have thoughts on this? Anyone know how I can get ahold of the spec’s for the slide? ThanksChanging standard ac to whisper air?Researching....can a standard ac be replaced with a whisper or quiet air. We have a 2015 Heritage Glen 5th and would like to switch if possible. It is ducted but still very loud. ❚ Did you see the "Announcement : ★★READ BEFORE POSTING HERE★★" located at the top of this forum? Can anyone help me find that information?Full-timing in CO year roundWe are contemplating a move to Colorado Springs and am looking for input from those of you who may have full-timed there in the winter months. How bad were the winters? We have a 2015 Heritage Glen BunkHouse and have not had any trouble in Springfield, Missouri. But that's a long way from CO Springs.:)AC going off and on and off and on........We have a bunkhouse 5er with 2 a/c's. The main unit will run until it reaches what the thermostat says and kicks off, then in 30 seconds or so, it kicks on and then 30 seconds later off and does this repeatedly until we either bump it up/down a degree or two, then it runs to that temp and we start all over. It will stop if the outside temp goes below the setting. Sometimes the compressor comes on and sometimes it's just the fan. Doesn't matter if the bedroom unit is on or not. The thermostat has been replaced twice and the rooftop unit once. As you can imagine, it's very irritating. Anybody have any words of wisdom?Re: Upgraded OvenI've also been told to get a toaster oven. Does anyone know of a residential oven/stove in any brand of RV?Re: Upgraded OvenThanks I'll try that.Upgraded OvenI'm looking for a better oven for my 5er. Have looked at them in a lot of brands and all pretty much the same. One center heating element that burns the middle and leaves the edges raw. Anybody know of something better?
