When we went to extend the slide out it would start and stop or more like it would hit a snag and go again. I took it to CW and the slide was ok, it was the topper, it had become bent some how. New topper took care of problem. I will admit I thought they were BS ing me. Not so. Thanks, I checked the sideout topper and found that it WAS the topper. The arm was loose that the anti-billow arm was connected to and as the slideout was going out the anti-billow arm was hitting the topper bar. I fixed the topper arm and all is good. Thanks for that info it saved me a lot of time getting into the slideout gears and motor looking for the problem.Re: looking for owners of 2004-2005 Pace Arrows richardc4 wrote: I have a 35g, the bedroom would come in fine. I lift the bottom end of the bed, pivots up to access storage, then remove all my junk, I then lift up the end of the thin slab of plywood that my stuff was sitting on, I don't remove it. I now have access to the motor and slide assembly. I don'tneed to remove any carpet Hopefully a lube job will fix it. Pat Thanks , I will get to it tomorrow. PaulRe: looking for owners of 2004-2005 Pace ArrowsMy bedroom slide out is acting. Bring it in the slide out works great but on the way out it jerks several times. I need to get at the slide out motor and gearing under the bed. Has anyone got to this area under the bed? Looking at it, it looks like I need to remove the bed, the wood plywood base and then the bottom of the storage which is covered with carpet. Any help would be welcome, I will start into this project next week.Re: looking for owners of 2004-2005 Pace Arrows Jim Bakker wrote: I've had intermittent problems with my backup camera/monitor, but now it's quit for good. Replacing it seems like something I could do myself. I'd appreciate any advice or warnings from anyone who has done this. TIA. You might need a new setup but first check the connections behind the camera on the back of the rig. They are hard to get to, mine was taped to the inside of the rear cap but came loose after working on it. I cleaned the connections, plugged the connections back together and worked. good luck PaulRe: looking for owners of 2004-2005 Pace Arrows hammer01 wrote: Has anyone had problems with their pace arrow discoloring? The white fiberglass is starting to show a hint of yellowing. Any suggestions to remedy this problem? P.S. It sleeps in a climate controlled shed built into my house. Jeff My Pace is starting to fade on the white and thousands of small little clacks all over the white fiberglass part. The cracks are only in the gel-coat and not in the fiberglass. The storage doors painted white are good and so is all of the painted fiberglass parts . Any ideas??Re: looking for owners of 2004-2005 Pace ArrowsHas anyone replaced their fresh water pump? If so, what pump did you get.Re: looking for owners of 2004-2005 Pace Arrows saber wrote: Well, after reading about everyone's electrical problems, I am starting to have a few too. Suspect my converter is shot. Got down low with a flashlight and read the spec sticker and it says 40 amps. Seems low to me based upon what I read on this forum, the year of the coach, and what is available at Camping World---45, 55,65,75 amp. Assume there is no problem with jumping up to higher amps. Any comments on an upper practical amp limit? Any tricks to removing and replacing? Can't say much on what size amps to get, but if your converter is on the floor under the washer/dryer like ours, if can be replace without removing the washer/dryer but it was fun. My replacing the converter turned a 20 min job into a 1 hour job just to remove the 4 screws to the floor and the three wires and the electric plug. Why would anyone with a electric design degree put any electric device under a washer/dryer. It is not if the washer leaks water the answer is when the washer leaks water all over the electric converter and other electric things under there. There is a big black plastic box with numerous electric wires going in and out that I have no idea what it is but I know it will not like water running over it. Funny part of the replace, well not too funny to me just my wife. AS I was trying to get a good angle laying on the floor in the bathroom trying to get my big mitts under the washer, I had my legs laying behind the toilet. After a few minutes laying like this working on the converter, I got a Charlie Horse in my leg. I almost ripped that toilet apart trying to get my legs out of there.Re: looking for owners of 2004-2005 Pace ArrowsSo far so good. I will see later this year in Kentucky when it gets cold and I run both furnaces.Re: looking for owners of 2004-2005 Pace ArrowsOK, getting lazy and not looking for my glasses to read the number on my old converter might have cost me. I thought the old converter said 55 amps and that is what I bought and I opened the box to read the paperwork (now they will not take it back). When I pulled the old one out it had 65 amps. ooooops. I had to put the new one in, I am on the road. My question is, what problems will or could I have with a 10 amps smaller converter?
