Shore power option
If you don't use the units shore power cord but plug in an extension cord from a 115V source to any RV electrical outlet, will it power the unit and maybe charge the batteries through the charger/ inverter?

I have heard good reports about the 6.7. The 6.0 not so much. I have a 2002 F350 with the 7.3 Powerstroke and just love it. A little noisy, but lots of power & reportedly bullet proof. 188000 miles and counting........
