Looks like I'm driving to pick up a new to me camper.Re: 2004 2500 series BigfootThank you.2004 2500 series BigfootI am looking at a 2004 bigfoot 25c9.6e. I have a 2021 F350. I'm trying to find information on how tall, if any, riser I'll need for this unit to clear my cab. I've read the E series have 3" taller basement which makes the clearance taller. The camper is a large distance from me so I haven't been able to measure it myself and haven't been able to find any old brochures online stating those measurements.Re: PSI With New Tires...One way to find proper inflation is to find a level parking lot, draw an inch wide chalk line across the tread, drive in a straight line and adjust tire pressure up or down until the chalk is wore even across the tread. You can do this loaded and unloaded.Re: Proper tire pressure for load range E 10 ply tiresOne way to find proper inflation is to find a level parking lot, draw an inch wide chalk line across the tread, drive in a straight line and adjust tire pressure up or down until the chalk is wore even across the tread. The best truck I have ever owned.Re: Gas or dieselI tow with an '06 V10. I have towed almost 16k miles in the last three summers. From Texas out to california up to yellowstone to south dakota and back and forth across Colorado. Million Dollar HWY(550), Monarch pass, I70. My tariler is about 9500lbs. I haven't been anywhere yet I can't go the speed limit, sometimes passing other RV/trailers. Think about all the gas engines mentioned in this thread all have twice the HP and the same TQ as the old Ford 7.3 that everyone loved to tow with. Just my .02 centsRe: SkylightNope, thats just the cost of the outer dome.SkylightI need to replace a skylight, While shopping around for a replacement I have found them on ebay for about $40. My three local RV shops want $111. That is a big price difference, has anyone bought one of the ebay skylights? Do they last? DennisRe: Fort Pickens, FloridaThanks! Its hard to judge the distance to the beach--wasn't sure if the larger loop would make it less likely for us to just ride the bikes to the beach. Either way, I'm sure we'll enjoy it!
