2004 2500 series Bigfoot
I am looking at a 2004 bigfoot 25c9.6e. I have a 2021 F350. I'm trying to find information on how tall, if any, riser I'll need for this unit to clear my cab. I've read the E series have 3" taller basement which makes the clearance taller. One way to find proper inflation is to find a level parking lot, draw an inch wide chalk line across the tread, drive in a straight line and adjust tire pressure up or down until the chalk is wore even across the tread. I tow with an '06 V10. I have towed almost 16k miles in the last three summers. From Texas out to california up to yellowstone to south dakota and back and forth across Colorado. Million Dollar HWY(550), Monarch pass, I70. My tariler is about 9500lbs. I haven't been anywhere yet I can't go the speed limit, sometimes passing other RV/trailers. Think about all the gas engines mentioned in this thread all have twice the HP and the same TQ as the old Ford 7.3 that everyone loved to tow with. Just my .02 cents308Views0likes0Comments
