Long bed.Re: branson mo hanko wrote: janstey58 wrote: I don't recommend Branson, traffic is terrible and too much tourism! kinda like Gatlinberg I assume? I like to pretty much kick back and take it easy while driving, especially distances.Re: Best type/brand/size tire on your tow vehicle?? anw7405 wrote: JIMNLIN wrote: Hmmm...I have a '16 4wd 1500 crew cab chevy with 17" wheels......a '03 2500 Dodge/Cummins 2wd with 17" wheels.....a '98 3500 454 DRW chevy crew cab 4x4 with 16" wheels. I keep different brands size and tire types on them as their 3 different trucks. Just curious but how will input about tire brands/types and sizes from folks with a much different tow vehicle than yours help you make a informed decision. I just like to hear real world reviews and not go by website ratings. For example the michelins have the highest rating on any tire most of the time but i see a lot of horror stories on splitting side walls. It seems like cooper has stepped up into the #1 spot and I think I will give them a try for my next tire purchase. I like doing a lot of research before spending my hard earned money. Be sure and check out the Hankooks, also. Those or Coopers are pretty hard to beat.Re: 2017 2500hd 6.0 gas up-grade questions dawzie wrote: Getting my new truck Monday. Double cab, short bed. Came new, stock, on my 2014 RAM. I've only got a little over 7K miles, and they are pretty much worn out. I suppose there is some kind of warranty, but I knew going in that stock tires are useless. I guess it's time for some Coopers or Hankooks...Re: Anyone Purchase an RV Used instead of New? Nutinelse2do wrote: Never bought a new rv, and never will. Let someone else take the depreciation, and have the problems fixed that come with a new coach. No thank you. There's people that would never ever buy new, and people that would never ever buy used. Personally, we would never buy used. If you are worried about depreciation, you better buy somebody elses problems. We didn't buy our dream RV to worry about what it's going to be worth ten years down the road. I just don't want to have to worry about what I can't see. Roofs, floors, etc. There's no way you can find or see these problems. I know what's going on with mine- inside and out and what you can't see.Re: Senior Pass Price Hike monkey44 wrote: The feds need to increase revenue in the parks - it's been $10 forever, and now it's still a huge bargain ... a few nights in a park with park admission and it pays for itself. Regards the COE parks, we're been all over the USA in COE whenever they are available. WE've never been to one that did not discount with the pass. I do know that some of the sub-contractors that operate the parks continuously push for NO Discount - which we hope never happens. Not that we mind even paying full price for camping as long as the extra money GOES TO THE PARK. But, those parks that don't honor the discount, just keep the extra $$$ - which is the unfair part of it, well, unfair to the campers and unfair to the federal budget - which is its citizens. The COE park in Pontiac, MO gives no discount whatsoever, regardless if you have the senior pass or not. Again, NO DISCOUNT. It's the subcontractors choice whether to discount or not. There's plenty that don't.
