Maybe some ammo for you.Re: Tent bunk separating from camperJust had my front one replaced at the dealers under warranty Friday. They replaced the whole thing, tent and all.Re: Dometic refrigerator MSchu wrote: I had the same problem, the fridge never got below 45 degrees the first time I used the trailer. There is a sensor called a thermistor attached to the fins in the fridge, if it isn't working the fridge won't cool. I replaced mine with an adjustable sensor, and it kept the fridge in the low 30's until I tried to adjust it up a little, then it dropped into the 20's and froze everything. Hopefully I can get the adjustment right but the point is do a little reading on thermistors; you might just need to move the sensor up or down to get the correct temp but it is fairly inexpensive and easy to replace. Where did you find the adjustable thermister? I would like to change mine out also. Mine has a hard time getting out of the 40 degree range. Did this make a big difference in your fridge temps?level refrigeratorOK, I have seen this on here before but I cannot find the answer. How many degrees each direction can your fridge be off and still be safe? I think it's 3 degrees one direction but I don't know which direction and I have no clue about the other direction. Can one of you good knowledgeable guys help me out? Thanks in advance.Re: Looking, but... No Trailers for NeanderthalsY'all laugh at short people. I'm 5'5" and I have NONE of these problems. NOW who's laughing?Re: TV suggestionsIn my humble opinion, if you are going camping and towing a trailer or anything else and gas mileage is your major concern, get a different hobby.Re: Name your rig?GRUU for the Despicable me movie. Boy there sure a lot of uptight people on here. If you don't want to name your rig, you don't have to but why piss on everybody else's parade. JERKS!Re: cleaning canvas over beds and awning marcarolle wrote: First, try warm water and soft bristle brush. It did miracles on my PUP a few years ago. If stains remain, I will let other members suggest the best product. However, I would suggest you provide us with year/make of your hybrid. This helps in finding the product suitable for your canvas. Happy camping If yours are like mine, Jayco says to NOT use a brush at all. They recommend Meguiars 57 vinyl cleaner among other things. Also Oxy clean, etc. Be very careful using a bristle brush on a vinyl coated tent end. They recommend micro fiber cloths or sponges.Re: TV gearing.Thank you all for your replies, the deciwsion has been made. I WILL go with the lower gears, thanks gain. Golfcart, you can buy the ring and pinion online from summit racing for $169.00 brand new. Just saying.TV rating and changing gears.Posted this on the wrong forum, sorry. I tow my Jayco hybrid trailer, weight 4300 lbs. with a Chevy Silverado 4.8l with 3.23 gears. Owners manual says max trailer weight should be 4700 lbs. I know that is pretty close. The owners manual also says the same truck with 3.73 gears has max trailer weight of 6700 lbs. If I change the gears I would pick up at least 2000 lbs. extra capacity. How much would that gear change effect my RPMs? I run about 2000 RPMs at 60 MPH now. The truck tows the trailer fine but I would like a little extra leeway. Who can help?
