So many great ideas I don't know where to start...Re: Moab, UT.Moab, UTHi Everybody!! First I'd like to thank anyone that is willing to take a minute and pass along any information it is much appreciated. My family and I along with a couple other families are planning a Jeep trip in June of 2017 to Moab to do some trail riding during a two week trip from Michigan. I'll be towing a goose-neck flatbed trailer with a truck bed camper mounted on it with my Jeep behind. My big question is this... Recommendations as to where to stay? Electric hook up is all I'm really hoping to have. One of the families is not camping so some place that has rent-able park units/cabins might be a nice option as well. I'm fine staying in town or in any of the state or national parks. Please pass on any recommendations in regards to places regardless if they have what I motioned. I like options... The only other information what would be helpful is what was on your top 5 things to see and do in Moab? Jeeping is kind of our theme but hiking is not out of the question. Finally, is 6 to 8 days in Moab enough, not enough to much? Not opposing leaving early to see other sights of the area. Thank you again, Rob (in Michigan)Re: ??? Michigan to New York (in December) ??? Greydennyhawk wrote: Why don't you go over Sarnia and across Canada? I go that way often to Lansing, from Buffalo, and the ride and road is great That would be the ideal route but one child doesn't have a pass port... :S??? Michigan to New York (in December) ???Hello everybody, Looking for some advice on a route driving out of Michigan on I75 to Ohio Turnpike then to New York City. I don't remember how hilly it is over that way if at all. Towing our 5th wheel for the ball drop. Don't worry, I have a place to park the RV.... Any suggestions and route information would be much appreciated. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Rob (in Michigan)Winter Camping Liberty Harbor RV Park, NJHello Everybody, Considering a December family trip to visit NYC and hoping to stay at Liberty Harbor RV Park. I am aware that it is a parking lot and just a place to park close to NYC but, has any one ever gone there in the winter months? Any advise would be much appreciated. Thanks, Rob (in Michigan)
