My hubby is a SQL DBA and his job is now 100% remote, the last kid just graduated high school, and we're now in the planning stages of hitting the road for at least 2 months at a stretch. Other than finding a RV that can accommodate his workspace, reliable connectivity has been a major concern. Super stoked to see other IT gurus here able to work on the road. :)Re: triple tent hybridsI think there must be some confusion with a different model - I have a 2015 SolAire 213x and not only are there 3 queen beds but I also have counterspace between the sink and cooktop. That's where my coffeemaker sits and I do food prep. :) Solaire 213x FloorplanRe: Sleeping bags vs. sheets & blanketsWe have a 3-bunk camper and each has a 2" foam topper, quilted mattress pad and crisp cotton fitted sheet. When the weather is hot each person brings a blanket of choice but for fall/winter I purchased comforters for each to keep us warmer. We tent camped often using sleeping bags/cots and I'm DONE with them and it doesn't bother me a bit to make a bed (or 3.)Re: triple tent hybrids PAThwacker wrote: Id take a solaire 213x over the 233s The solaire has a better kitchen layout. Personally, I *do* prefer having a bit more counterspace - the 233S has none; you'd have to use the cooktop if you need to set something out like a toaster or coffeemaker. I know that some people prefer to set these things up on an outside table so personal habits/preferences should be considered. I also like the single bowl sink in my SolAire. I didn't think I would initially and was disappointed that the late 2015 models changed over to a single-bowl but now I wouldn't go back. The SolAire doesn't have the net over-bunk storage like the 233S and I wish it did - it's wasted space. :(Re: triple tent hybridsWe recently purchased a 2015 Palomino SolAire 213x triple bunk with 1 slide and love it! There aren't any Roo/Shamrock dealers nearby so I couldn't directly compare the space/storage with a 233S but I imagine it would have been a toss up between the 2. The Roo has a U dinette on a deeper slide where my SolAire has the sofa on a more shallow slide and a regular booth table. We've had our SolAire out several times now and are extremely happy with it. :)Re: Rear WallHopefully it will be an easy fix for you! Fingers crossed!Re: Rear WallAre you still confidently pulling the trailer with that kind of wall instability? We have a 2001 Aero Cub that has water damage on the nose and much of the floor and in the past week a corner trim piece has popped out of place and the lower portion of the outer wall is separating. We're brand new to campers and haven't pulled it anywhere yet 'cause I'm terrified that once we hit the road the whole thing is gonna collapse. Your wall separation sounds awful and I'm looking forward to hearing responses on how to fix it!
