Of course that pushed the price of wood at campgrounds up. But it is still worth it, One of the highlights of camping is the fireCamping with TC off truckI have read several posts that have said some campgrounds do not allow you to take your TC off the truck. I have been to 20 states and 2 Canadian provinces in 2 years and have not encountered this.Is it common? If so where?Re: What is the best way to check propane amount?Keep in mind that propane tanks are only filled to 80% of their liquid capacity to allow for expansion.the other 20% is the gas you are burning.Re: Happijac Tiedown vs. Torklift TiedownTotally satisfied with Torklift. No reason to switch.Re: DRW - Are they REALLY better? Thanks for the response Jumbojet and good luck with that sweet new ride.Almost bought 2011 Dodge dually but couldnt get the deal I wanted. Also after driving a propane bobtail for the last 25 years thought it might be easier to keep a SRW between the lines LOL. Well being that I promised the DW that my last three trucks were going to be my last new truck I may never know. Happy camping.Re: 19.5 tire questionI have ran Rickson steel wheels with 245-70-19.5s Michelin xds tires for 5000 miles and only had two slight rubs on hard uphill bumpy turns.Thats with no wheel well mods. They are almost identical in size to the 265-75-18s that came on my 2011 Chevy 350 SRW. They are H rated tires that handle great but they do sing.Re: Pictures of my new Dually and TCNice lookin setup. I will be curious to here your opinion on if the difference in handling is worth the upgrade and the downside of the extra width with the four rear wheels.Re: What about 19.5" tires on your SRW truck?set of 4 Rickson steel rims and 4 Michelin XDS balanced and delivered for $3400. Just took a trip on them to Fla and back with more confidence. One hand steering.Noisy but no regrets.Re: My first trip reportPullled my boat for the first time from home to Saranac Lake NY and averaged a little over 12 mpg.Kinda weird not being able to see the boat behind you.
