It is an attempt at achieving luxury (long shower) while constraining build cost. I replaced the mixer valve and use the ultra hot water to sanitize our eating/cooking ware.Re: Replacing Water Heater Bypass ValveIs the valve that failed a 3 way or open/closed?Re: Packing ez lube bearingsThe misinformation in this thread is astounding. Where did the first batch of new grease come from. There is but one grease galley once you see clean grease the old has been moved out. There may still be some old, I concur and if the same grease is used it should not present an issue. With drum brakes Easy Lube spindles are a waste as the drum needs removal to inspect the magnet and linings. Disc brakes benefit from this feature because the pads and spindle seal can be inspected assembled. Pump or pack = personal preference for disc brakes IMHO.Re: DIY Pressure Testing for Rain LeaksElectric leaf blower? Seems I saw this discussed somewhere plumbed to a roof vent.Re: Weather along routeI use Raindar (Android) and our Garmin with smartlink.Re: Browser Experimentation wildmanbaker wrote: Very interesting..... Now is there a "Search engine" that does not track you searches? A platform other than IE, I have used some of the platforms mention here and went back to IE. I try to stay away form anything "Google" as they track you heavily, as does Amazon. I do use Google search engine, as others do not give as good results. Duck Duck Go did track my searches, but this has been a couple of months ago. Some of the interweb access programs, seem to affect how my virus software performed. So, is there actually any other platforms that are better, or safer that windows? Cloud track your searches or local cookie track via search/field data entry history?Re: winegard video distribution centerTo test direct connect SAT > TV insert a coax barrel connector between the SAT IN & TV OUT cables @ the rear of the distro box. I'm assuming the distro box is the multifunction box with many buttons.Re: Kodi boxesWe've cut the cable in October 2017 & started using a Fire TV Gen2. Installed Kodi and am using the Cosmic Saints 4K Clean Build + selected add-ons. We are finding this suits our needs ATM. I've purchased an additional Android TV box that I intend to use as a test bed to preview various builds and add-ons in order to preserve the Fire Tv's setup. We do not torrent nor do we download content, we just stream hosted content. I use YouTube as a resource to stay up-to-date with the changing landscape. As to using the Fire TV in the RV we understand it is a streaming device & many RV Parks will either block or limit their WiFi bandwidth. Thus its usefulness will be more limited. We rarely use the boobtube while camping anyway.Re: Sirius XM in truck - can it be extended to RV jfkmk wrote: The Sirius subscription on a new vehicle is usually the top tier service, including streaming audio. You can use your phone or tablet with a blue tooth speaker. Provided you have a mobile data connection or WiFi internet access that allows streaming.Re: Is there any way to opt out?I use Brave browser almost no adds and improving daily it seems. Developed by Mozilla's former CEO. I dropped Firefox over his ouster.
