I will be retiring in the next year and we are looking for a new unit and the more I look and research new RV's the more disappointing it gets. We are looking for a mid to upper range unit in the $50-60K range. We are looking at the Montana High Country, Heartland Big Horn, Jayco North Point & Eagle, Keystone Alpine, Forest River Blue Ridge & Cedar Creek, Palomino Columbus. I know there will always be issues with new R.V.'s as I have bought several units new over the years. However after reading some of the review's on line and the horror stories some people have and not getting the factory support is very disturbing. It seems like a **** shoot these days, maybe we get a good one or maybe we don't. Just hold your breath and hang on! These large issues and lack of factory support and or build quality is all across the board and not just limited to the low end entry units. One of my co-workers ordered and bought a new $400K M.H. last year and it has been the M.H. from H%$@LL. They are now in legal mitigation through the Lemon law to get there money back. Sorry for such a long rant, not really looking for answers just venting my frustration. P.S. I have a 2016 F350 SRW Crew cab Diesel 4x4 truck. I have also considered a used high end model unit but they seem to be hard to find. Thanks for listening and feel free to share your view's on the subject.IS IT ME OR CAMPING WORLDI need to get my 5th wheel raised to match my new truck. So I went to Camping World this afternoon to see about having it done. My RV is a Sunnybrook that has factory holes in the spring hangers for raising the RV. Camping World say this is not a good idea because it may cause the axels to get out of alignment. They say to do an axel flip to gain the extra clearance. I think this would have a bigger chance of getting the axels out of alignment. I am crazy or missing something here or is it camping world????2001 SUNNYBROOK 27RKS 5TH WHEEL QUESTIONDoes anyone know what the bolt pattern is on this RV with the 6 lug wheels? I just got this trailer from my Mom as my dad passed away last November and she can;t use it. My dad always wanted to put custom wheels on this RV but never got around to it. The rims are looking bad in appearance only and I would like to replace them with something he would have liked. There is plenty of wheel well space and I was thinking of trying to use 6 lug rims from any of the 1/2 ton pickups that have 6 lug wheels even though most of them are 16" rims.. I know I can take one off and go to a tire store but don't have the time right now, I thought maybe someone on here might have already done this. Thanks in advance for any help you may give.2001 SUNNYBROOK 27RKS 5TH WHEEL QUESTIONThis topic has been moved to another forum. You can read it here: 28575148Re: ANYONE TOWING 5TH WHEEL WITH RAMBOXYes I'm looking at the 2013 2500 that now comes with the Ram Boxes available. The 2012's had the Ram box at least available on Outdoorsman as the local dealer has one in stock.ANYONE TOWING 5TH WHEEL WITH RAMBOXI am looking at the new Dodge trucks and like the Ram Box's . Not sure about a 5th wheel hitch with this type of bed. I know you wouldn't be able to open them when the R.V. is attached but would be handy the rest of the time.
