I have been in parks where they don't allow motorcycles at all and ones that don't allow the little scooters. I have not come across a cruising around restriction but it makes sense. I can't imagine towing a car when I only have a 22 footer. My bathroom goes with me every time. This is about going to dinner not driving the Blue Ridge Parkway.Re: Multi-purpose vehicle?I think since a car can come and go as it pleases in a CG then so can a street legal scooter as long a it follows the same rules. Large CGs usually have parking spaces for cars near the major amenities.Re: Multi-purpose vehicle? What you are describing doesn't sound suitable for a scooter at all and we would certainly not use it in that situation. We are 3 years into RVing with our 22 footer and are used to having it with us at virtually every attraction. We fit in a regular parking spot. But there are times and places where RVs are not allowed or convenient no matter how short they are. The idea is to have an alternate form of transportation that doubles as a 2 wheel golf cart.Re: Multi-purpose vehicle? There are a few higher output 150's that can handle 2up riding, but it's main use would be for short local trips like dinner or a nearby attraction. No intention of using it on highways.Multi-purpose vehicle?Goal - To have a runabout vehicle for both in and outside of CG. We love golf carts, rent them every chance we get, but can't bring one with us. While we love being nimble in our 22' MH and use it to its full advantage, there are times when we can't get close enough to our chosen destination. Enter the rear mounted scooter. I'm not talking about the 50cc ones that don't need to be registered. Street legal, registered, and capable of carrying 2 riders easily at 50 mph. But small at 150cc, liquid cooled, and quiet. Other than the occasional "It's my CG and I'll decide what's a scooter" kind of owner, it should be allowed right? I see people drive their toads to the pool, store, and laundry all the time. Should be the same thing. All comments appreciatedSide glass replacementWe had the misfortune of being the target of a BB gun and our back frameless glass window has been shattered. We live in NH and can't find glass companies who have even heard of frameless windows. Can anyone point us in the right direction? thank youRe: Ford Dealers Won't Service E-450We had the same problem in NH with the F350 chassis. Had to call Ford and they directed me to a Dealership about 50 miles away. I think this is common.Re: 5.4L vs 6.8L in small Class CWe have the 5.4V8 in a 2014 22' Pleasureway and it is certainly adequate. The 5 speed transmission helps. But I'm sure the V-10 is the better choice when in hilly terrain. The gas mileage difference is minimal (1 mpg) and the noise the 5.4 makes when it's working hard is annoying. In my case it was a matter of $$. I saved $8,000 versus the V-10 model.Re: Pleasureway PursuitWe also have a 2014 Pursuit and have put 15,000 miles on it the first year. We absolutely love it and use it far more than we thought we would. We have the electric sofa which costs you the small pass through storage available on the U-shaped sofa models but allows more versatility by being able to adjust its position. We can recline our sofa for personal preference or slide the whole sofa forward to provide storage behind for when we take it to pick up plants or go Christmas shopping. We also average 11 mpg and have found that by only being 22' we can legally park almost anywhere. That means when we go to the beach, we park at the beach, not in a campground 3 miles away. Most come with a V-10 but ours is only a V-8. In the beginning we were getting 12 mpg but we drive faster now so we pay the price. We have no problem with the engine, although it can get a little loud when it downshifts to get up a hill. Good luck and let us know if you have any specific questions.Re: 1 yr and 15,000 miles in our first MHStill a rookie I guess. Meant to post to "Beginning RVing".
