I will try to get a few other views before jumping. The cost is nontrivial!Aftermarket Air Ride for Winnebago TravatoDoes anyone have experience with adding air suspension to a Winnebago Travato (built on the Ram Promaster 3500 chassis)? I have seen offerings from Glide Rite (4 bags - 2 fore and 2 aft of rear axle) and VB Airsuspension (2 bags - aft of rear axle). Any anecdotes, specific experience with these systems, or any other advice would be welcome.Re: Using my Travato 59G in below freezing tempsThanks for the comments and advice. We'll keep it well heated.Using my Travato 59G in below freezing tempsThe dealer tells me my Winnebago Travato 59G has all the plumbing lines within the heated space. And it has tank heaters for the grey and black water tanks. Does anyone have experience camping in a 59G in temps well below freezing (less than 25 degrees)? If so, did you have any problems with frozen plumbing? Any damage to the shower pump or the waste water pump? Ralphie76 2017 Winnebago Travato 59GRe: Travato 59G transmission questionTom, Many thanks. It's just as you say. We took delivery on our 59G with the Promaster 3.6L V6 on Monday. It does indeed have a "Park" position. The dealer I spoke with some weeks ago must have been referring to the automatically shifted manual transmission you mentioned. We are looking forward to taking it on its maiden voyage this weekend. Overall we are very pleased. It is nimble on the road and compact in parking lots and tight quarters. We were unpleasantly surprised by a couple of inconsequential workmanship shortcuts in the furniture, but the issues aren't serious. We are excited to get out on the road.Re: Travato 59G transmission questionThanks all for your comments and help. We have decided to go with the 59G. We'll report anything worth sharing!Travato 59G transmission questionI am considering purchase of a 2015 Winnebago Travato 59G. The chassis is a Ram Promaster 3.6L, 280hp V6 gas engine and 6 speed 62TE transmission. Has anyone had problems with it rolling when the parking break is set and the engine off? Is it true that it automatically goes into neutral when the parking break is set? Sounds like a potential problem. Any advice/experience welcome.
