Then let the heater run a bit and do the same measurement again and see if there is any difference. Perhaps as the element heats up, it gets less resistive such that it results in more current... not enough to blow the fuse but enough to overheat the relay contacts to the point of "melt" after a number of runs / cycles. side question, what is the part number of the relay?Re: Slide problems (electrical)if you post a picture of the switch especially the back connections, or at least post the switch model number, it might help get to the bottom of the issue. Are there two buttons? How many wires are there?Re: Intermittent leak - need to drop underbelly for troubleshootthat just a standard bolt that the plastic pulled thru during its install which might make it harder to get at the bolt head. Just clean away the plastic and use the right size nut driver to take off the bolt.Re: satellite connection on Apex 249rbsYou need to check what type of wall plate you have... the newer rv7542 (or other color number) allows the sat signal thru on the aux/sat connector (with button off). The older models (rv7042) does not.Re: ? Equal spacing of tires important? As previous suggested, your measurement may not be "good" depending on the conditions that it was done under since the suspension may not be totally at "rest" / "neutral" position. You may need to pull it to a long flat surface and travel in a straight line for a bit to allow the suspension to "set", then measure and see if it compares, then repeat and compare once more. If it is out after that, as suggested, you should potentially get it looked at for suspension check (loose components) and ultimately an alignment.... otherwise, you may be eating tires in quick fashion down the road.Re: phorid flys helpyou have a dead animal (mouse or otherwise) somewhere in the trailer that is providing food and "hatching" for the flies.Re: Electric advice neededone question.... you said at the beginning that the "right side / conductor" was black... but what is the right side? as you look at the plug with the pins facing you OR as you look at the receptacle with it plugged in... it makes quite a bit of different as you are either referring to the hot or neutral wire... IF its the hot, then possible you have high current at the time of plugging or unplugging. IF its the neutral, then you might be having a grounding issue somewhere that is drawing current (some) but not enough to cause the breaker to set.Re: Trailer brakesget a meter and do a "quick" resistance check at your trailer plug on the brake pin to the ground pin. That resistance should be under 1 ohm (note ensure you have tested just the resistance of your test leads to know what the "zero factor" is for the meter reading thereafter). IF you did complete assembly installs where you had to do some re-wire, it is possible that the wiring resistance has increased causing an issue with the amount of current going towards the brakes.Re: Need Immediate Adviceyou want to make sure that the tube is indeed connected to the drip tray spout and that the water from the drip tray in the fridge is making its way out the tube. After you have checked the tube routing / connection, take a small amount of water and pour it into the drip tray and watch where it goes... you can even put some food dye in the water to be able to see the path more readily. You don't want water in the fridge "operating area" (pipes, heater, etc) as it will cause a rust problem especially on the tubes resulting in ammonia leaks and a dead fridge. The water tube on older models gets rigid and breaks readily. One other thing to check is to ensure that the roof vent for the fridge is not allowing water to run down inside the venting chamber and finding its way to the lower wall vent area.Re: HELP...Strange Tire Wearmy guess looking at the picture, it appears that perhaps there is a "toe out" issue. I would check / measure the position of the "spring clip" where the axle tube bolts to the spring. Its position "pin" may have rusted / broke allowing the axle / wheel to move slightly back (you can check the measurement against those of the other spring positions)... although one would think that the "twist" would show up on the corresponding tire on the other side... but perhaps not.
