DozerFord Pass appHello all, Has anyone bought a new Ford truck recently? The dealer I got mine from was really pushing the Ford Pass app. To me it seems just like a data mining app. Why does Ford want to know where I'm going? All thoughts and opinions welcome! Thanks, DozerRe: Anti sway question. Boomerweps wrote: Funny. Unless Ford changed their brochures for 2022, the Ranger has that 750/7500# tow rating without requiring a WDH. With the factory tow package. Yes, the F150 requires it at 500/5000# with factory tow package. Have you seen the rear end of the new Rangers, and how they sit high? I'm guessing a 500 lb tongue weight might level it nicely.Anti sway question. If a truck has built in sway control, (2022 Ford Ranger) is anything else necessary regarding a hitch setup? If you're within the guidelines of the manufacturer re: tongue weight. What else needs to be done? The truck is rated to tow 7500 lbs and I'm only planning to tow about 4500. Thanks in advance, DozerVR Headset with Progressive lense glasses?Hello All, Does anyone have any advice with using a VR headset that wears progressive lenses? I bought an Oculus Quest (still not working...but), I noticed in setup that either top or bottom would blur depending on where my eyes were going. I was thinking maybe a single strength lense would help this, anyone have any insight Thanks in Advance, DozerRe: Engine shut off, no warningThanks for all the replies, It just happened again. To narrow things down I was driving with all the electronics turned off. I was just coasting up to a red light when it shut off, and it felt like I had downshifted. While it was still rolling I just shifted into neutral turned the key and it took right off. I'm going to look for something loose under the hood. I'll let you know. Thanks guys, DozerRe: Engine shut off, no warningHi OP here, thanks for the replies. I guess the consensus here is, it's something electrical. Well I have had odd issues with my radio. I had XM adapters installed for years and years but discontinued the service and just left the adapters installed until my radio started to have problems. ( going over bumps it would cut out). I took out all the adapters (you wouldn't believe how much was crammed into the dash cavity). Now it seems to be working fine with no cutting out. It's hard for me to believe that something in the radio harness could make the engine cut out but...?? I'm all ears...thanks! DozerEngine shut off, no warningHello All, This isn't exactly a towing question but didn't know where else to go. The engine in my truck (2003 F150, 4.6) just shut off driving down the street. No warning, no chug chug cough, it just shut off like throwing a switch. It felt like it might be electrical but all the dash icons came on and the radio was still playing. But needless to say the power steering and brakes were gone so it was a little disconcerting. I got pulled over to the side of the road and it restarted with no problem. Any ideas? Thanks in advance, DozerRe: HD TV repair questionThanks to all who responded. It's definitely not the bulging caps thing...ran into enough of those to last a lifetime. I have a theory: I bought this TV when this model 1st came out. I'm guessing Samsung may have realized there was a problem with the Main board and quickly threw a slight re-design in to it. But I have to proof. Thanks, DozerRe: HD TV repair questionWell the board was under $200...but I hear you! Dozer
