It seems to have taken a charge this time. Put it on the charger around 4:30ish pm last night...checked it before heading to bed for the night and it was still charging and not showing a bad battery. Checked it this morning before leaving for work and it's showing charged and still no bad battery. Might have gotten lucky with this one this time. Lesson learned on this one for sure. Happy camping :BRe: RV Battery chargingI really appreciate all the help on this. Definitely a lesson learned on these type of batteries and batteries in general. Still all new to this stuff so I'll take all this advice that I can. Going to get some distilled water (which if I'm not mistaken is what you wanna put back in these) and try hooking it in parallel to a good battery in my Jeep. Worse comes to worse I'll just have to get a new one and try not to mess that one up..... Thanks again for all the helpRV Battery chargingI'm going to do more searching, but thought I'd ask anyway. When we got our TT last fall it came with a new battery in it. Stored it at my parents place and was wanting to pull the battery, but forgot. Pulled it afew weeks ago and of course it was dead. Got a charger/tender to bring it back up to charge, but it's showing bad battery. Talked to a guy at work and he was asking that since it's a marine/RV battery if it charges different and hence the tender/charger seeing it different and that's why it thinks it's a bad battery. The Charger is an 8amp charger so I wouldn't have to worry about fast charges. Any help would be great.Covers for TiresI've been looking into getting covers for our tires on our TT to put on it when it's not in use. I've seen acouple different styles and am curious as to which one would be better. Canvas or Vinyl I do realize everyone will have their own opinions and likes, but any advice would be great.Flying your colors (Flag Poles)We're looking at camping this weekend and are taking our new to us TT our for its first distance trip. I've seen ppl with flags attached to their rigs and would like to do the same thing. My BIL uses an extendable painters pole that he attaches to the back of his TT. I'm looking at going the same route but will attach it permanently to our ladder. I'm curious as to what/how other ppl attach theirs and what they use. This is our first year with a TT as we used to have a PUP and upgraded to our TT as it fits our needs wise. 4 kids and such we needed the room.
