dmatt We will be camping at Lower Pines at the end of this month. Did they require chains for you to leave? Our fear is we get there and it snows while we are there and we will have to put on chains to get out. Since we are Floridians we have 0 experience with that stuff.

Is that on Bermuda? I've been there and I highly commend you if it is. Their roads are tiny built for half size cars/trucks and scooters mostly. Lovely place.

I think they put the license plate on it for checkins. I always try to remember my dh's book that he writes gas mileage in because I wrote our plates in it. They always seem to need this info.

We have a great family group that covers most of Florida. Check out http://floridapopupcampers.yuku.com/ There are all kinds of people: families, older, younger,retired,empty nesters, etc.. usually a good crowd and we eat well all weekend that we camp together. We camp somewhere every month and have our schedule set through Dec 2009 already. We camp mostly in state parks but occasionally in private campgrounds.
