I imagine that would corrode all your connections.Re: Mounting TV on roof of RV with Aluminum studsI think if you get a mount that is easily removable or can take the tv off of it while traveling, it would reduce the stress on the screws and make for a lasting mod.Re: Any electrical experts out there?Just a thought...Is the vac plug polarized(one lug wider than the other)? If not, does it trip the GCFI in either orientation in the outlet? Assuming it's a two pronged plug.Re: Got me a little electrical issueTo further confuse this. the flickering lights could have been caused by a loose connection at the fuse box and eventually burned itself off the connection.Re: Valve Stem for 110PSI G Rated TireHad my G614s installed in Michigan at a Discount Tire. Be careful on the ladder.Re: Furnace operates off DC only?Look up how to open your propane tank valves.Re: Hot Water Heater?????I have a Suburban heater as well. I usually drain and flush the tank a couple times a year while checking the anode rod. I flush quite a bit of deposits out of it, mostly I guess from the anode rod deteriorating. I wonder if yours has built up to the heating element causing some loss of heating.Re: DirecTVI had Directv installed for my 5th wheel while snowbirding in Arizona 4 years ago. They supplied all the necessary SWM equipment. It required a 2 year contract, which has since run out, but I continue to use the service. I did purchase a tripod to use while on the road. While travelling, I can call them with a change of service address request to get local stations, if I want. While in my home state I can get local stations in 80% of the state. So I'm confused as to why you need to purchase equipment. If you want home service, use the equipment you have or visa versa.
