Lots of good things to think about. Thanks, JohnStoring Your RVWe've recently moved into a new home - downsized into a smaller home on a single floor. Good move for us except that I no longer have an RV shelter. We can park the RV off-street here at the new house (just barely) but I considering using an RV storage facility (several nearby). When deciding on an RV storage facility, what should I look for? What makes it convenient? What makes it inconvenient? What should I look for in terms of security? Or is storing an RV at a facility just a pain? I'd love to hear about your experience, Thanks, JohnRe: Towing with Toyota TacomaThank you for everyone's thoughtful comments. We are retiring and downsizing seems to be a theme - the Airstream Basecamp at 2500 lbs would seem to fit with the Tacoma. Thanks for your help, JohnTowing with Toyota TacomaI'm considering a new truck, perhaps a Toyota Tacoma. How much do you pull (would you pull) with a new V6 Tacoma with auto trannie? The towing capacity specs are towing capacity 6400 lbs and tongue load 640 lbs. Thanks, JohnRe: Clearance/Tail Lights Not WorkingIn response to Photomike - you're right about walking around the RV before taking off. I'm guessing that these lights had been out for some time. Only got noticed when we were driving in winter in AZ early in the dark. Thanks all for your help. I'm now able to fix this. Unfortunately the running lights went out again. Fortunately, I had an extra relay! I'm guessing it happens when turning into a shopping center and going diagonally over the driveway ramp from the street. There's quite a bit of sway and I can imagine that the cable bundle going up the back end of the body get quite jostled. But that's just a guess until they fail again. JohnRe: Clearance/Tail Lights Not WorkingReplaced a couple relays, and that seems to have fixed front and rear clearance lights and tail lights.Re: Clearance/Tail Lights Not WorkingWinnebago Customer Service got back to me with these two diagrams for relay location. See Chassis wiring installation On the third sheet, in the upper right, are shown a set of relays under the passenger seat. Initial testing was positive although still a couple funny things going on. Will keep you posted.Re: Clearance/Tail Lights Not WorkingHmmm, good questions. The brake lights and turn signals work when I touch the brake pedal or use the turn signal switch. Brake lights are not on when the lights are on.Re: Clearance/Tail Lights Not WorkingThanks again for everyone's help. I've poked around a bit more. On wiring diagram http://www.winnebagoind.com/diagram/2008/08_524h_wire_160995.pdf I found a relay labeled TAIL/CLEARANCE LAMP RELAY. From the diagram, seems like this could have something to do with both my front and rear clearance lamps. But I can't find where this is located. Does anyone have a relay location map for this 2008 View 24H? Thanks, John
