Why would Thor purchase Tiffin for millions of dollars if they didn't want it to succeed? It certainly wasn't for proprietary reasons as the only thing Tiffin had was its PowerGlide chassis which is going to be discontinued. And, yes, he has been stopped a couple of times, and law enforcement officers always either don't know or don't care about this issue, as nobody has been cited for it that he knows of. At any rate, I am not advocating anybody ignore the law about this. Just wanted to point out that in some cases, laws like this are not enforced or noticed much. This is actually one of the reasons I prefer gasser Motorhomes that stay under that 26k limit. I would definitely not want to have to get a special license to drive our RV (even if the law doesn't enforce such). I have been a TSD/Open Roads card holder pretty much from its inception for RVers early in 2019. Its intention was never to provide the lowest possible price at any location. Its intention was to provide a discount at the major truck stops, ie; Love's and TA/Petro nationally, and some regional locations such as Sapp Bros. In addition to the discount the main reasons to use the program is the locations are right off the freeway, easy access to the pumps, relatively short wait times and no pump shut-offs at a particular dollar amount.299Views0likes0CommentsRe: Torn between two used Class A need help
