Whether a shaved 4-prong or as-is 2-prong, the female end will only fit near the opening of the bumper tube, so you can only mount one fully-fitted tube in the bumper . . . We have a 2019 NL 8-11. We were able to to fit four 10 ft. Revolution hoses (brown hose/yellow ends; sold at Walmart) inside the bumper on our 8-11. These hoses have 4-prongs. If you carefully shave each side, between the prongs, just shy of the black gasket, it will fit inside the bumper. Did this about 7 months ago. Have used the hoses numerous times since then with no issues. Northern-Lite increased the size of the rear bumper after enough of us complained about it. You may have one of the larger ones on your unit.Re: Off-Roading Tractor Trailer wnjj wrote: Anyone else really want to fold the mirrors down on the motorbike? I’m sure the view is a little clearer from the driver’s seat though. ;) It's hardly noticeable as long as I remember to load it up correctly.Re: Off-Roading Tractor Trailer Kayteg1 wrote: Following erratically driven semi so closely? You deserve new underwear. Not proud of that fact, and I chalked this experience up as a lesson for me too. Spent the next four hours being overly cautious from the comfort of the right lane.Off-Roading Tractor TrailerWas travelling to Paducah, Kentucky this afternoon for work and recorded the video below of a tractor trailer running off the road. He did a good job of recovering, but he peppered me with dust, debris, and part of a barrel that passed beneath the truck. This happened on I-71S just north of Louisville, Kentucky. Fortunately, there was no damage to my truck or the NL, but I can't say for certain if the same is true for the driver's seat. https://youtu.be/mmVz4ojMao0Re: Northern Lite truck to camper cordI must be one of the lucky ones. My 8'11" had a structural (delamination) issue on one of the wings and after they tried unsuccessfully to fix it, they replaced the unit.Re: RV Campgrounds in Southern OhioRocky Fork Lake SP or Paint Creek Lake SP are good choices for checking out the mounds in the area. Staying at either one would give you an opportunity to check out Hopewell Culture National Historical Park located in Chillicothe, in addition to seeing the Serpent Mound down by Peebles.Re: Which to comprimise on? This is what we do and it works great.Re: On the Road to Virginia and Back AgainYou'll want to grab you a spare fuel filter if you haven't used bio-diesel in your truck. We found out the hard way about it's cleaning properties after it clogged up a couple of fuel filters as it cleaned everything from the tank forward.Re: Hocking Hills SPWe live pretty close to this park and will occasionally spend a night or two at the campground. From the park you can access the Old Man's Cave trail head just below the loop located at the end of the road where the tent camping sites are located. This will enable you to see quite a bit of the park, including the upper and lower falls and Cedar Falls. Considering your bum knees and asthma, you should also check out Ash Cave, which is located a few miles from the campground, but it is still within the State Park. The trail is paved for handicap access and the cave is a short level walk back that is definitely worth the visit. Other sites within the park worth visiting is Conkles Hollow, Rock House, and the recently opened John Glenn Astronomy Park. There are a handful of good places to eat in nearby Logan, Ohio. We really like Millstone BBQ, Hungry Buffalo, Maya Burrito Company, and Pizza Crossing.
