They arrived at Heritage as we were leaving. What a small world!Re: Bears at HyderJust left Stewart/Hyder area Saturday and nothing yet. I did see one black bear meandering near the pier in Hyder but thats all.Re: Roll Call Alaska 2014I just ran into Rich & Mary at Mountain Shadow RV Park in Iskut, BC. We don't have a sign, but will rig something up when we get to Fairbanks.Re: Large storage drawer under the bench seatI love this. I am working on shelves for my closets and pantry now. I wish I had time to do this before my next trip.Re: B A L levelersI was talking about the levelers posted earlier in this thread. I have stabilizers on each corner. I was wondering if I could use these to level my travel trailer instead of using wood or plastic blocks to make a ramp to level it. I wasn't sure if these could be used with a TT. Moderator note: Sorry, I hit "quote" instead of "reply" when making my last post.Re: B A L levelersThis might be a silly questions but I am new to trailering. I have two tires on each side in the rear. I only need this for one of the tires?Re: Possible TV upgradeSo your thoughts are the Navigator will pull it fine?Possible TV upgradeI have a 2006 Lincoln Navigator and I am pulling a 2013 Keystone Hideout 28BHS. The Navigator is rated to tow 8300 and the Hideout shipped weight is 6,726 with a carrying capacity of 2969. I took the trailer out this weekend and the Nav did fine. However, it was only loaded for a short 3 day trip (although there are 6 of us). We will be adding some weight as I will be putting in some shelves for clothes and pull out shelves in the pantry. I am considering upgrading my vehicle to a used Excursion as its diesel and has a 44 gal tank instead of 28 gal. My other option is an Expedition EL. My main concern is that while in the Appalachian Mountains it pulls fine. This summer I will be in the rockies and I don't know how well the Nav will do. Any thoughts or suggestions?
