Let me know some specifics and I'll try to help :) You mentioned Lake Pemaquid, here are some reviews: Lake Pemaquid We just stayed at Pemaquid Point 2 weeks ago and love it, not on the water but you can smell the ocean breeze and the beach is a 5 minute drive: Pemaquid Point Ideally the campground would have a large lake for fishing with lake front sites and not far from the coastal areas. We have 3 kids 2 of which would fish all day long. The third just needs to be able to swim. We like shaded private campsites with W/E/S. Thank you for everyone's input!Re: Coastal Maine campground recommendationsAnyone have any info on Lake Pemsquid Campground?Re: Coastal Maine campground recommendationsWhy would I not want to drive to Maine?Re: What are the pitfalls of camping in a Hybrid? We bought a Jayco x18d spring 2015. We love it except for the following Rain- it's loud when it rains Sleeping side ways meaning the inside person needs to clime over the outside person to get out. And for me since I am the one that does it is making the beds. I open the beds before we leave make them then fold them back up. We are looking at tt but can not find any with the sleeping space we have now, 3 queen beds. We are a family of 5.Coastal Maine campground recommendationsLooking for a campground in Maine for next summer. Something with a lake or body of water. Thanks EricaRe: what to payThis all started because we saw a Roo 183 at a show. That's what we wanted no questions asked. Well then I started poking around and found the jayco 18d. What we like that the Roo doesn't have is the extended dinette bench. It's nice to have other seating then just the bed and dinette. We are a family of 5 so we need the 3 beds. The dinette to a bed is not a bed to me. Ok if the kids bring a friend on occasion but not for everyday use. So far the jayco has been better pricedRe: what to payRV direct is over 4 hours from me. I have got a quote from them. I personally think it's too highRe: what to payI have also found a left over 2014 same model. Is there anything I should be concerned about buying a left over? Is $1000 less then a 2015 seem appropriate? Thanks for your help. We are upgrading from a pop up which we bought off craigslist. I don't like dealing with dealers! My neighbor sales cars I never step foot in a dealership and he sells them to us pretty much at his cost. So we are use to saving $1000's off the msrp! I realize people need to make money though.Re: what to payIt's new 2015. Has everything but t.v. And the extra folding table. So 25-30% off suggested retail? Is it better to purchase in the winter months? Thankswhat to payHow do you know what a fair price is? I am looking at a Jayco 18d trying to figure out a fair price. any advice I appreciated. thanks Erica
