Take time to mourn her loss. At some point it may be more obvious what you want to do. I’ve stayed with RVing on my own but it is different. Grief affects us all differently, listen to your heart and know God is with you.Re: Spouse left behind after death at a Campsite, what to do?This happened to me. We had just arrived to our winter destination in a new RV. He survived a month before passing. I had to try and figure out repairs to the RV, taking care of two dogs and visiting the hospital for hours a day. Then cremation and going back home to Wisconsin in winter, 1500 miles away. I can truly say, God provides, because I found people to help in various ways. My stepson had flown out and stayed with me and helped to drive the RV back. I do wish I had done more of the tasks so I was comfortable with them. I am still rving in a smaller RV but I haven’t tackled towing.Re: Questions for QuiltersYou have the right idea about prepping before you go. I use one of those folding camp tables to sew on in the RV, and I use it outside when it’s nice. The picnic table is great to spread out on. And, depending on the campground the clubhouse can be used as well for a little more room. I bring scraps to work on smaller projects too, which would be great on short stopoversRe: Giving it upBlessings to you Lee. You are making the best decision for your situation which is all that matters.Re: ChattanoogaRaccoon Mountain would be my first choice. Best Holiday Travl Park is also nice.Re: Tiffin dealer recommendationDavis Motorhome in Memphis is where I got my Tiffin wayfarer. Others have used Sherman RV in Ms or Ingram in AlRe: Have you ever used your FMCA assist to get home?I haven’t used them but I know what happens in a crisis, it’s very hard to make decisions. Just call them, they are there to help and will provide all the information you need. Prayers to you.Re: Any widow(er)s around here?I lost my travel partner as well 1 1/2 years ago. I have felt really strongly that I want to continue on my own and I know my husband would want me to. I went out on my own about a year after he died, for 3 1/2 months and I’m glad I did. Met new friends, learned a lot about my RV. Just put one step in front of the other and don’t be too hard on yourself. God bless you.Re: Selling Canadian MHome in US with no titleAs a former DMV employee, all states know that Canada doesn’t issue titles and would require a bill of sale along with it. Compliance with the safety requirements is often an issue, but it sounds like it originated in the US so that shouldn’t be a problem. The other sticking point may be that it was not imported properly, which would require paperwork from the import company. It seems like calling the dealer and finding the actual problem is in order, travel seems unnecessary. Perhaps a 3 way call with the Arizona DMV.Re: Any RV transport recommendation? If you belong to FMCA, they will help you make arrangements to get your rig home. The name of the company is Seven Corners, you will need your member number. tel:877-202-4176 good luck and God bless you and your husband. Mod edit to fix phone number.
