He stated he does not trust an RV park that does not have a web site. I'm surprised, considering his experience, that he actually gives credence to everything he reads on the internet. I do not. I've been in many campgrounds that have little resemblance to the description and pics on the website, and they were not very nice places. I have also been to little out of the way places that no one has written about but are quite nice. As a previous poster commented, I also use the satellite view of google maps and zoom in to get a true idea of the place and surroundings - such as railroad tracks, interstate highways, or cattle feed lots - none of which are ever mentioned on a park's website.Re: Tornado Flips RV's in Gautier, MSIf anyone has first hand knowledge, I'm curious if any motorhomes, class A or C type, were overturned. I viewed all the photos I could find online and they all showed trailers only. I would think that with their heavier chassis, motorhomes would be less susceptible to strong winds than a towable.
