I've read all about the acetone versus mineral spirits debate and am using it carefully.Re: Tricks for Faster Dicor Removal? beemerphile1 wrote: Clean with acetone and cover with Eternabond. Ok, thanks.Re: Tricks for Faster Dicor Removal?Ok, the two seams are done and I'm looking at some of the vents. The problem I'm asking about now wasn't as much a problem with the seems because I removed so much of the old caulking, but now what I'm looking at is basically what looks like ground in dirt in the caulking. I'm thinking a plastic brush and a cleaner is going to be required. Wo can the Eternabond just be applied over what looks like dirty caulk? It -has- been surface cleaned but wow, it still looks bad.Re: Tricks for Faster Dicor Removal?I've got the Eternabond, what do you recommend to clean the old stuff for the best adhesion? I've got an oscillator, I'll look around for a blade.Tricks for Faster Dicor Removal?I've noticed that the seams between the front cap and back cap and roof have split open after some brutal summers. So, it's time to redo them and a couple of other sections on the roof. I'd like to reduce the amount of time it takes to remove all of the old (I assume it's) Dicor on these seams. Any tricks? I've previously used putty knives and it's such a process.Re: No pumping water memtb wrote: If it will not pump, I have on occasions, filled the suction line...then blew into line ( like blowing-up a ballon) to help the pump take a prime This is what I went through during my first attempt at winterizing.Re: Even the Geek Squad Couldn't figure this outLook for the instructions to have the operating system remember your password. This will allow you to have an automatic signon since this is what it seems you wan to do. I've had my computers set up this way for years and it works fine. For security on my laptop I've set the bios to ask for a password on power up. If you're worried about a lack of security if the OS doesn't ask for a password, it's a false sense of security; there's plenty of utilities that can reset the signon password to blanks.Re: KOA disappoints.... again!A couple of things: Did you get a confirmation email from KOAGiftcards? Did you check to see which email address you'd entered for your friends? Since you received the card immediately, I tend to give KOA the benefit of the doubt. You could easily have sent it to yourself originally by putting your information in the Recipient boxes. While it's a small excuse, you should recognize the time of year when these things happened, most employees are using their vacation days toward the end of the year and many companies are operating on skeleton staffing levels.Re: forgot to winterize and it went to 21 last nightRegarding the pump failing to not prime. I had the same problem when I tried for the first time to winterize my trailer. I installed the Camco winterizing kit which is a T setup with a hose that goes to the gallon container. I had to pour antifreeze into the tube and have it run down to the pump. Eventually the pump membrane caught some fluid and it began to pump on its own.Re: 2016 Ram brake control Blazing Zippers wrote: The Ram "instructional" DVD was apparently made for people with no need for actual information and always having a DVD player at hand. Open the DVD in your file explorer program, find the folder with Index.html in it. Copy everything in this folder and each subfolder to a USB drive. You can now browse the manual on any device that can read this USB by double-clicking the Index.html file.
