Thank you guys. I think I will have to hook up to my 20a outlet for a couple nights as I think it will be fine if I trip converter. Also I’m in Texas so I will just set thermostat where it stays on constantly during the night instead of coming on an off. I will have to use an extension cord but it is the exact kind that’s already on camper (the black thick one). Only doin this for 2 nights hopefully. Also how do I know if I’m burning up the circuit? I have the 186bh first trip in it and it won’t turn off. Camper does not have a real thermostat only 2 knobs on the rooftop af. One side is fan low, medium, high and same on other side for AC. Then it has 2 be knob for like how cold we want it. However if I turn it to coldest I can hear compressor turn on and it will literally stay on for hours until I lower the how cold knob. Then it will never turn the compressor on its own…. Is this normal? Seems odd to not have a real thermostat. Ok well I have just a plain shank with a 2 inch drop an 5/16 ball. I was waiting to buy WDH because I thought it has to be specific to which ever camper I buy? I found one at harbor freights a hail master10,000 trailer weight. 1,000 max tongue weight. Class 3 and 4 hitches. I said I was getting that exact jayco camper but there is a chance we pick another today ( dealer has 3 all about same size and weight) thank you guys though.440Views0likes0Comments
