Some other owner have same issue. Others don't. Escape seems unconcerned! At one time they included a vent shield over door, Now don't. Anyone familiar with this issue? Seems dangerous. Installation looks correct (Suburban heater). Re: Dometic Furnace Sail Switch IssueChecking circuit is next. Sail switch seemed initially to be the answer. Lots of on-=line issues with it. Now in IdahoRe: Dometic Furnace Sail Switch IssueIntermittent operation. Sail switch fixed it. Now problem is back. Ordered both numbers sail switches. Seems Dometic had an issue with this part. Bracket was a problem not letting the arm close enough. But the correct part number is up for debate! 36160 is hard to find. Found one on eBay.Dometic Furnace Sail Switch IssueThere is considerable confusion on what is required. Furnace is Dometic model DFSAD12131 with serial number 11291681. Trailer is new in late 2021. Manufacturer insists correct part is Dometic 33082. Finally getting through to Dometic, they insist that part will not work. They confidently say it needs 36160 (which seems wrong in reference to the serial number , that seems to want 31093. Spent a LOT of time on line with this issue; considerable confusion there too with many folks thoroughly perplexed! Has anyone out there been able to successfully address this matter? ShaneGrease in EZ lube dust capOne EZ Lube hub seems to be pushing grease out into the dust cap. Bearings were "professionally" serviced last season. No grease on back of wheel. Ideas? Will pull apart myself and inspect if necessary.Re: What broke my window?Hard to say. The only reason you be so curious just to possibly avoid it in the future. The window was replaced today. Very easy now that they are using what is known as a D Seal gasket. No putty to mess with. However, it is a lesson with respect to double pane windows. They are much more expensive to replace and single pane. And apparently can’t be done by your local glass people. It was $350 for a replacement window! And that is only a 30 x 20 Item! It could’ve been a rock. But the small distinct hole makes me doubt that. BTW, i’ve discovered that a small, very inexpensive tool is sold that allows you to break the glass in your automobile window in case you are headed underwater. I saw one recently, and the rod that breaks the glass is about the size of the hole in the window. Just hold it to the window and push the button.Re: What broke my window? Not parked where a mower rock could hit it. On closer examination, it looks like only the outer window is broken. The inner looked shattered, but that is backside of outer window, which looks not shattered on the outside due to dark shaded glass. I suppose it could be a rock but it is a small penetrating hole, more like a pelletRe: What broke my window?Looked for that but cant see anything yet. Will look more closely when I replace the window and can take the glass out. What broke my window?Have a "broken" double pane window on an almost new trailer. Curious part is that it is a side window. There is a small hole in the outer window while the inner window is completely crazed. There is no hole in the inner window. The outer window hole is just a tad less than an fresh 20 caliber pellet. Given the history and where it is parked, it would have been very difficult for this to have taken place anywhere but on the road. Soooo, has anyone suffered a broken side window (small hole) as a result of a stone being thrown by another vehicle on the road? My curiosity is getting the best of me because I can't imagine a stone from the road penetrating the side window and leaving a small hole. New window ordered from Lippert to the tune of $350 and five weeks.Re: No gas to cook topBought a Yellow Jacket manometer – not expensive. With stove burners and water heater running it showed a fat 11.5. Marshall engineer said even 12 qwould be ok but to watch for poor flame at high altitude (due to lower oxygen). He also emphasized that all regulators are affected by altitude pressure, My instinct would be to set the main regulator up a bit for higher altitudes due to lower pressure. Kids have a new Escape trailer and others owners have reported that the OE regulators supplied are all over the place. So the easy and inexpensive thing to do was replace the regulator with a highly regarded one.
