All ActivityMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsRe: Who makes what & quad bunkhouse questionsWe chose the Palomino Solaire 307 for our family of 5. It was the lightest full featured quad bunk with a kitchen slide we could find. Other than the potty being really tight, we love it.Re: Bullet, Bullet Premier, or White Hawk?Might want 2 check out the Palamino Solaire line. They had some of the lightest bunk models I could find. I have the 307 loaded with just about every option weighing in around 6300lbs. According to the dealer locator, they are available in Puyallup. Good luck in your search.Re: Replace Manual Awning with Power Awning ... Anyone ?Power all the way! I just zip it in at night in case of wind. With the manual it was just a hassle. Hence, it was basically a new awning on a 12 year old rig when I sold it.Re: Lightweight Bunk House OptionsThe Lance 2185 is great in the under 30' category. The Palamino Solaire in the over 30' for us. Namely--bunkhouse, kitchen slide, outdoor kitchen, 60x80 queen, hard doors, and optional fireplace, dual-pane windows, and heated tanks. All under 6500lbs:)Re: Fixing to pull the plug! Need to pick your brains. After an exhaustive search ourselves, we just pulled the trigger on a Solaire. It was the lightest unit we were able to find among comparable floorplans. I also found the finish to be a little better than most we looked at. We ended up going with the Eclipse Package which gives you a really nice mattress, front cap with Line-x, etc. Plus, it has a 60x80 queen!!! Good luck in your search.
